The New Ally

Diane's POV

I spent the next couple of days searching for the documents in almost every room I could get access to in Lucius's wing but each time I came back empty-handed. There was nothing on Owen.

Not even a little fever note and it made me start to wonder if the boy ever got sick at all because if he did then his hospital files would have been in his room somewhere.

Maybe it was somewhere in his room and I wasn't searching properly.

I got out of bed and quickly took a shower before Lucius could even leave the room, I started heading out.

Ever since our little pillow discussion, he had retreated to himself and we barely talked anymore.

A part of me was grateful for this for it gave me more time to focus my energy on the mission I was currently on but a small part of me wanted him to at least talk to me.

As usual, I slipped out of the room and Kelvin was already out waiting for me.
