Owen's Birth Documents

Diane's POV

I sat in a corner crying inwardly at how badly my plan was failing. All I could do was take note of all the shelves; the number of times people walked in and out; the food; and how Lucius moved around the large space.

But as my eyes fixed on Lucius and I watched him closely —he was so invested in the files that were before him— I started calculating a crazy move.

What if I pretended to help him rearrange the office? What if I proposed fixing his files —which technically were already arranged but I could try my luck?

This would give me the chance I needed to go through all the files without any suspicions.

A smile came to my lips as the idea started taking shape in my head. All I had to do now was to start from the farthest drawer possible. It would help me find the document I needed and when I did, I just had to worry about how to bring it out of the office without bringing it to Lucius's notice.

Oh well, they always said when at a crossroads, the solution would come. All

I think we all knew Owen was probably going to be her son but to take him away from his father and the only home he has ever known is cruel!
