Analyn POV
I looked in the mirror and gasped as I saw the angry mark Ambrose left me. It looked like a tattoo that shaped like a crescent moon. But it wasn't cleanly drawn like how a tattoo would be. Instead, it was more similar to a birthmark.
I've only heard stories about werewolves leaving marks on their partner so they could be bonded for life but seeing it on my own skin was just unreal. Shirley and Tessa would lose their shit when they saw it.
And I was happy that he finally did it but...
Did he have to do it on an embarrassing spot like this? I blushed as I looked at my right breast. How am I supposed to wear v neck dresses without feeling embarrassed now?
Wear it proud, no need to be embarrassed, I told myself. This is what I wanted.
I wanted to be his and he finally accepted me, but does he love me? I didn't want to ask in case he said no.
Charlotte was standing by the door with her head down. Her face was gl
Ambrose POV"Well. What will it be, Analyn?" I asked Ana.I looked down at Selena. She was so terrified that she was shaking uncontrollably while her parents were crying their eyes out. And then I looked at Ana, who had a gentle look on her face. I knew she was not going to kill Selena.Ana was just not that kind of person. She was too sweet and too kind."I don't want her to die," Ana said.Typical.I turned my attention back to Selina. "Well, it looks like today is your lucky day. If I were Ana, you would definitely be executed. But I will keep my word." I paused."What will happen to me then?" Selena asked. Tears streamed down her face and I almost felt bad. Since we were pups, we had been friends, so this wasn't easy for me either."P...please...I don't want to leave," Selena started."Quiet! Since I let Ana decide your fate, you get to live. But I declare you a rogue from this point on, and you are
Analyn POV "We need to talk about your sudden ability to hear me," Ambrose said. He was staring at me intently as if to study me. "Hear you? I could always hear your annoying voice. I am not deaf," I teased him. Ambrose made a snorting noise and looked at me irritably. "Don't be a smartass. I meant the thing about hearing my thoughts. And you even heard my wolf. What's up with that? No one can hear him but me," he said. "Well, it turns out I can. He has a deep and husky voice, very soothing to my ears," I said. I tried not to laugh as his face turned wrinkly from annoyance. "He must be a handsome boy. Like my grandma's dog Dusty," I added. [Not only that I'm handsome, I am also very cuddly,] his wolf chuffed. I giggled. "You seem nicer too," I cooed. [I can do the things he won't do, babygirl. Like saying sweet things in your ears all night long,] the voice grumbled. "Okay, this is very weird. Stop flir
Ambrose POV I ran into chaos. The fence was shattered, and the werewolves guarding the fence were lying on the ground, screaming bloody murder. "What happened!?" I yelled. "The mon..ster. It crashed into the fence bro..ke it," one of the guards spoke. One of his arms was missing as he lay there on a bloody mess. "Shit, Dorian. What did he do to you," I growled. I tried to heal him, but he had bled too much. It seems that the drider dripped poison into Dorian's wound so he wouldn't heal. "I will take revenge, don't worry, brother. I said soothingly as he closed his eyes. It seems that he was the only one who was still alive. I saw the rest of the guards were already dead. I heard screaming in the distance and headed that way. I halted as I saw Theo and the others in their wolf form, hunched down in front of the monster as he snarled and hissed at them. He was holding a goddamn sword as if his claws weren
Analyn POVI have to go up there. I have to get to Ambrose. When I said I was feeling his pain, I wasn't kidding. It was just the left side of my body, around the waist area. My waist felt tender to touch. I knew if I got to him fast enough, I could be with him and make him feel better."That's absurd! I can't let you do that," Sylvia protested when I suggested it."You don't understand. He is hurt. I felt his pain! He needs me!""Ana, I know you are upset, but..."I stood up abruptly. "I can't just sit here and wait while he fights that demon. He is hurt, and he needs me. I have to go." I announced."Analyn, don't!" Sylvia tried to grab my hand to stop me, but I proceeded to escape the cellar."All of you stay here and be safe. I will be fine, don't worry." I looked at Sylvia, who had a dark expression on her face, but she wasn't trying to stop me anymore."I don't agree with you. Ambrose asked me to keep you
Dave POVAll of my efforts were in vain so far, but I was not willing to give up.Analyn may have chosen that werewolf now, but that didn't mean she couldn't be mine. It's not that I liked to play fair anyway.Maybe I could use that little lamb called Charlotte again. she seemed to be mesmerized by me when I hypnotized her. Silly little girl..."Where are you going?" Chloe asked before I left the house."Where do you think I'm going?" I countered."You need to give up on that girl, brother. That Alpha already claimed her, so there is no point in fighting. You can easily find another girl to feast on later. Why don't you go for her friend or something? How about that little werewolf girl you talked about? What was her name again? Sherry?" Chloe wondered."Charlotte," I corrected her. "Yes, her blood is quite sweet. However, it can't compare to what Ana might taste like.""What do you think she tastes like? How c
Analyn POVPower. My body trembled as I felt a surge of heat and power coursing through my bloodstream. Bright silver lights were dancing in front of me, almost blurring my vision. All I did was wish that it was daylight already. My wish seemed to come to an effect as the bright light shone through the clouds and suddenly, it wasn't dark anymore. The monster screamed as smoke came out of his body. I was doing it. I was killing him with light! But how am I doing it? I couldn't understand it myself. The monster screamed in pain and stomped his way into the forest. "He is getting away!" Ambrose said and proceeded to get up, but I pushed him back down."Stop it. Let him go. We can catch him later," I scolded him."But...""But nothing. You are hurt. Let's take care of your wound first, then you can plan another attack on him," I told him."He killed Jaq." His voice was thick with emotion. I let
Dave POV "Get out of the sun!" the girl screamed and dragged me away somewhere. Oh, that's right. Smoke was coming out of my body, so I suppose I should take shelter. Oh, the woes of being a vampire. That's the only thing I hate about the undead lifestyle. The sun came up every morning and became my enemy. It was my only weakness. Well, besides silver and garlic, I suppose. But at least those things would only weaken my strength and not disintegrate me! "Where are we going?" I said in amusement as the little werewolf ran while holding my hand. "There's a shed in the back alley. We can take shelter there. The sunlight can't get inside," she said. Ah, sweet darkness. I could already feel my skin peeling. I hoped the shed wasn't too far away. "We are here!" she said after we arrived in front of a large shed that looked like a mechanic's garage. She pulled the door open and pushed me in. "Good thing
Ambrose POVIt has been over a week, but there was no sign of the drider anywhere. Logan and Theo went to check the cave, but it had been empty since the night of the attack. But I knew it was far from over. The monster will be back once he is done recovering, and I will be waiting for him.I watched Analyn roll out of bed with her eyes closed as she staggered to the bathroom. I guess it was time to wake up and get ready for bed. I needed to call everyone to the dining room and have a meeting about the..."AAAAAAAAAAAAH!"I jumped up as I heard her scream at the top of her lungs. Was she being attacked?I ran to the bathroom, ready to fight whoever it was but was shocked to see her standing in front of the mirror by herself."What is it? What's wrong?" I asked frantically."What the hell is this?" Analyn said and pointed at her stomach.I furrowed my eyebrows, feeling confused. She just looked like a normal pregnant lady to me.
