Dave POV
"Get out of the sun!" the girl screamed and dragged me away somewhere.
Oh, that's right. Smoke was coming out of my body, so I suppose I should take shelter. Oh, the woes of being a vampire.
That's the only thing I hate about the undead lifestyle. The sun came up every morning and became my enemy. It was my only weakness.
Well, besides silver and garlic, I suppose. But at least those things would only weaken my strength and not disintegrate me!
"Where are we going?" I said in amusement as the little werewolf ran while holding my hand.
"There's a shed in the back alley. We can take shelter there. The sunlight can't get inside," she said.
