Ambrose POV
I felt bad for lying to Analyn, but I didn't want her to know that I was planning on seeing Chloe. She might get jealous or get the wrong idea.
But it's not like I was going on a date with Chloe. I needed information.
I needed things to go exactly the way I wanted and I didn't want Ana to get the wrong idea.
I knew where to find her. According to the bar owner, Chloe visited almost every night. What a boring lifestyle she had, I scoffed.
I didn't take anyone else with me in case she got suspicious. I needed everything to go smoothly.
I was right. She was at the bar.
She sat in the dark corner all alone. It was the perfect opportunity.
"Need some company?"
She turned to me and smiled when she realized I was standing in front of her. "Look what the cat dragged in. What are you doing here all by yourself? Where are your other puppies that always hang around with you?" Chloe flashed a fa
Ambrose is in trouble now!
Analyn POV I looked at the address I scribbled down on the paper. It wasn't too far from where Ambrose and I lived. It was time to pay the place a little visit. I went back to the house first. I knew Ambrose didn't like it when I did things alone, so he would kill me if he knew I was visiting some random witch's house. Especially at this time of the night. So I figured I would ask for his help. I couldn't find him anywhere in the house, so I headed to their practice battleground. I saw a few guys cleaning up, but Ambrose was nowhere to be seen. "Have you guys seen Ambrose?" I asked one of the men. The blonde guy with tattoos scratched his head. "I haven't seen the Alpha since the sun went down." "Well, where is he?" I asked. I suddenly felt uncomfortable, as if Ambrose was in trouble. The blonde wolf shrugged. "Do you know where he is?" He turned to his friend and asked. His friend shook his head. "Theo
Dave POVI witnessed the whole thing from a distance. I watched Ambrose seduce my sister, my naive sister. She had always been so weak. It's a surprise she lasted this long and didn't get killed by a Vampire Hunter or something.I couldn't hear what they were saying and I couldn't get too close because I knew that alpha would sense my presence immediately. Werewolves had strong instincts and a great sense of smell. Even stronger than the vampires.I thought about stepping in and fighting the wolf off of Chloe, but I stayed back and watched them interact. I knew if I interjected, Chloe would be mad at me. She had wanted to drink his blood for a while now. And I could understand her addiction. So why not let her have some fun? I will warn her later. So I watched them from the shadows. No matter how much it annoyed me.But things got worse when Analyn stepped in and went into a jealous rage. What was shocking was the powers she possessed. He
Analyn POV This is it? I looked at the burnt building. I looked at the address on the piece of paper to make sure I was at the right place, but there was no mistake that this was the place. "Should we go in there? It looks like no one lived here for ages," I said, already feeling demotivated. "Yes. We are going in. We'll search the entire place if we have to," Ambrose said. I felt better about him being here. I was still mad at him from what I witnessed in the club, but I decided to set that aside for now. I will deal with the jerk another time. The place smelled and looked terrible. All the windows were broken. There were newspapers scattered everywhere. Paint peeled off of the walls. Ambrose started to sniff around like a dog. It was making me laugh, but I forced myself to stay serious. This was an important business, after all. "Let's start in the kitchen first," Ambrose said. We looked in some other rooms after but found no
Analyn POV"I am?" I looked at Sylvia, completely dumbfounded. "But I am not tiny or have pointy ears." I referred to the picture in the book."You aren't in your true form right now and you well...still blocked in your brain, so you can't shift yet," Sylvia said."Are you telling me that Ana can shift into that tiny thing?" Ambrose finally spoke. He kept looking back and forth between me and the picture of the fae. He picked up the book and read some more. "Faerie's have the power to make vampires fall in love. Their blood has the aphrodisiac quality that makes vampires feel like they are drunk and high." Ambrose stopped reading and looked up from the book. "No wonder Dave is so obsessed with you. He is just a crackhead who wants to get high," he said in a playful tone."You have the same blood," Sylvia said.We both gasped. "What! Don't tell me Ambrose and I are related? Eww...?" I exclaimed.Sylvia chuckled. "No, honey. I
Dave POV I stared at the petite wolf as she caressed my torso and planted soft kisses on my chest. I ran my fingers through her hair as she trailed her lips over my skin. My body was naturally ice cold, but Charlotte seemed unbothered. If anything, she was transferring some of her warmth into me. Something I didn't even know was even possible to do. I felt oddly satisfied, even though we barely started. Charlotte looked up and met my eyes. Her clear blue eyes had a spark. She likes me, I thought to myself. I didn't even have to seduce her properly this time. She was the one in the process of seducing me. I kept my eyes glued to her perfect breasts when she grabbed my shoulders and gave me another push, prodding me into my back before sitting on my stomach. "What do you want me to do to you, Master Dave?" The name rolled off her tongue so smoothly I got goosebumps. "You don't have to keep calling me that. I am not hypnotizing you and I won't be
Analyn POV I woke up with my body aching all over. Sylvia said I was getting closer to giving birth. I was scared, but I didn't tell anyone this time. Ambrose had been busy lately. He woke up early and went to practice battle with the others. He said when the drider came back, he wanted to be prepared. But I wasn't worried. Each day I wake up, I can feel my powers getting stronger. My babies inside me...I could feel them growing. And I could feel their powers. To me, it was a lot scarier to think about than the monster. How am I supposed to control them when they come out! I thought about my past. I had been thinking hard, trying to remember things about my childhood. Anything that would remind me of my mother. I knew my father lied when he said he found me as a baby. I was a kid in my dream with my mother. Why would I be at that age in my dream if I hadn't seen my mother since I was a baby? Nothing made sense, but I was determined to find the
Analyn POV I stared at her, dumbfounded. "You are what!?" I cried out. I couldn't believe this. That asshole vampire took advantage of this poor innocent girl. She couldn't even defend herself since her wolf never came out! "I am with child, and it's Dave's child," she repeated. "How could that happen?" "I don't know. I had an accident when I was little, and a doctor said I could never bear a child. But here I am, pregnant!" Charlotte said. I shook my head. This girl. She sounds happy. Doesn't she realize how much trouble she is in? Who knows how Ambrose would react when he found out one of his pack members was pregnant with a vampire's child. Charlotte's face suddenly turned dark. "I knew it. You hate me now, don't you?" "What? No. Of course not. But I do think you made a mistake," I said. Charlotte looked at her hands. "It doesn't feel like a mistake." "It's not your fault, Char. He se
Ambrose POV "There was another sighting of the drider." Logan said. It had been almost a month since his last attack, but we couldn't find him anymore. It was as if he had disappeared from the face of the earth. "Maybe he went back to whatever hell he came from," Theo had said when we failed after searching for weeks. "Then we will look for his home." I never gave up and kept looking for him. He killed my father and one of my best friends. I couldn't let him off that easily. "Where was he seen?" I asked Logan. "A hunter saw a giant spider-like creature in the woods up north," Logan said. "I will personally go and kill it. He thinks he can come into my territory and kill my men? I don't fucking think so," I said quietly. "We will be right behind you," Theodore agreed. But I couldn't chase after it just yet. I had more important matters to deal with at home. Ana was just about ready to give birth. I couldn't leave
