Chapter 78 Voluntary Death

I didn’t know that what I used to consider home would leave me with trauma. The last time I was here was when Maxwell held me captive. It was a long time ago, but being here somehow felt like it was from recent events.

The slope of the ground, the familiar twisting roots of the trees, and the fresh air this deep in the woods used to coat me with comfort after coming from a tiring hunt.
