Chapter 4: He save her

Sofia's POV

When I went to school in the next morning, I'm still alone. Drake never accompany me when I'm attending school, although we have the same direction to go.

I was walking down the hallway alone while holding my stuff. My best friend just called me earlier that she's not attending our class today. I have no other friends aside from Agatha. She's the only person who had the guts to talk to me and make me as her friend.

“Oh, the pathetic wife of the Alpha is alone.” I stopped from walking when I heard voices behind my back. My grip on my things tightened upon hearing my bullies voices.

“Please leave me alone, I'm not fighting the three of you.” I muttered and still standing in my direction, until one of them pulled my hair which made me to close my eyes.

“We will leave you alone if you and the Alpha got divorce.” Madison muttered and then pushed me. I fell down the ground and my butt hit the floor which made me to grimace in pain.

She even kneeled and grip my chin. The way Madison looked at me, her eyes are blazing in anger. I know that she's mad towards me because I become the Alpha's wife instead of her.

“How many times do I have to explain to you that the Alpha choose me over you. Don't you get that?” I asked her, and Madison gritted her teeth towards me.

“The Alpha marry you because he's only using you. He doesn't love you, Sofia, and whatever happens, the Alpha won't love you.” Madison said and which made my tears to fall down from my eyes because of the pain. She is right, the Alpha doesn't love me and the truth hurts, but as what I have said I won't stop with my plans of taming his heart.

I won't get tired of showing to him how much I love him. Being his wife, it's my responsibility to take good care of him.

“You didn't know anything, Madison. So please, leave me alone. I did nothing to all of you.” Madison pulled my hair again, which made me bite my bottom lips to stop myself from crying, but the pain made me scream.

“Seeing you cried will make me feel better, Sofia. You are not worth of the Alpha's time and whatever you wanted to do, you can't have the Alpha.” She said towards me. Madison is about to slap me on my face when someone grabbed her hand and which made me to agape.

“Don't fucking lay your hands on my wife, Madison.” His voice made my heart to flatter in happiness. I'm not even expecting to see Drake in here. He came to defend me from my bullies.

“Drake, I thought you didn't care to her at all.” Madison said towards him with shocked all over her faces.

“Yes, I didn't care about her, but I never tell you to disrespect her.” Drake's voice seemed threatening towards Madison.

“I don't get you, Alpha Drake. You tell me that you're not concerned about her, and you even tell us to make her life living in hell.” Madison muttered in her shaking voice. I bite my bottom lips upon knowing that Drake asked my bullies to make my life living in hell. My heart crushed into pieces, but I don't care about it.

“Shut up, Madison. Stay away from her or else, I will kill you.” He threatened to them and which made me to raised my head at Drake. I can't believe that Drake was about to defend me from them. He came on time to save me.

“I can't believe on this, Drake!?” Madison walked out away from us with her allies beside her. I'm still sitting on the floor and with my head bowed down. I have no courage to face Drake because I'm scared that he was about to scold me of being weak.

“What are you still doing here? Get up, Sofia.” Drake's voice echoed on the surroundings and which made me to bite my bottom lips. He remained the same. His voice is as cold as ice until now.

“Thank you for saving me from Madison's hand, Drake. You didn't know how it means to me.” I muttered at him the moment that I get up from sitting on the floor. Drake stared at me, still in his usual aura. He seemed not to care about the words I muttered.

“Don't thank me, Sofia because everything I did is not free. You're going to pay it.” He said and which saddens me. Although, Drake is like this, I'm still grateful that he become my husband. There are times that he didn't defend me, but there's also a time when he came on time to save me.

“Still, thank you so much for defending me.” I muttered and Drake just shake his head towards mine. He started to walk his feet away from me and which made me to sigh.

“Follow me.” He muttered and which made me to smile. My butt still aching in pain because of how Madison pushed me earlier, but I will just endure it until I got home to Drake's house.

I'm holding my back when I am following Drake through his office. My head was on the floor, and it's late for me to realize that Drake approach me. He carried me without saying words that shocked me.

My heart jumped out of nervousness because of what Drake did to me. I was biting my lower lip to stop myself from smiling.

“Don't speak, Sofia, or I will release you from my hands.” Drake warned me and which made me to bite my lower lips again.

This was the first time that the cold-hearted Alpha carried me like a bride, and my heart was so happy because of it.

In just a couple of minutes, we already arrive to Drake's office here in school. He put me down, and I averted my stare from him because I have no enough courage to face him.

I was about to sit down on the couch when Drake did something which almost flee my soul away from my body in nervousness.
