Chapter 6: Painful words from the Alpha

Sofia's POV

Drake grabbed my waist and I could feel his muscular torso against mine. His hard cock graze to my stomach that made my face to redden in embarrassment. Drake, stop kissing me and then stared me deep into my eyes which made me bite my bottom lips. 

“You know, Sofia, I admit that I'm attracted towards you…” He said, which made my mouth agape in shock. I could feel my heart pounded fast inside my chest because of Damon's words.

“What do you… mean, Drake?” I asked towards him with my stuttering tone. He arched his brows while staring me deep into my eyes. 

“Nah, forget it. Let's get out of here because this place is very dangerous for a human being like you.” He said and pulled my hand away. I was biting my lower lip because of Drake's strange personality. It's as if, I have forgotten what happened from earlier when I catch him and my best friend kissing. 

Yes, I'm hurt about it, but it's just a kiss and also, it's not a concrete reason for me to give up of taming, Drake. I won't give up on him, regardless of what happened, and I will never stop taming this cold-hearted Alpha. 

“Why did you follow me, Drake?” I asked him and which made Drake to stopped from walking to face me. His brows furrow while staring me on my direction. 

“Why did you ask, Sofia?” He asked me instead of answering my question. A deep breath escape from my mouth before uttering words. I wanted to ask him the reason he kissed my best friend because I wanted to get an explanation about it. 

“Why did you kiss my best friend, Drake? Did she seduce you?” I asked him and which makes him to grinned towards me. 

“Don't tell me you're jealous, Sofia?” He asked and which made me to bite my bottom lips. 

“It's not good, Drake. The woman you're kissing is my best friend and one more thing, even if we're only married in papers, I am still your wife.” I explained him and which makes him to looked at me on his blazing eyes. 

“I don't care, Sofia. Even if you're my wife, you have no rights to advise me like that. If you wanted to avoid being hurt, then stop acting like I treated you as my wife. Do you want to know the reason I'm here? It's because your best friend told me to follow you.” He muttered at me and which makes my tears to streamed down from my eyes. 

“Drake, why are you constantly changing mood time to time?” I asked him in my stuttering voice. He grins at me before responding to my sentence. 

“I told you ever since that whatever you wanted to do, you can't make my heart to melt, Sofia. You are just wasting your time and your effort.” He said and start walking away from me. I bite my bottom lips to stop myself from sniffing. This is not the time for me to cry. I should stop my tears from streaming down in my eyes, but damn, I can't even stop it.

“Can you accompany me to my parent's home tonight, Drake?” I asked him while trying my best to reach him. Drake is walking swiftly, and I was facing difficulties to reached his direction. 

“I have another business meeting to attend tonight in the pack, Sofia. You can ask my beta to accompany you.” He responds to me and I bite my bottom lips again. 

“I heard there will be a coming ball next week, Drake. Are you bringing me as your partner?” I asked him and which made Drake to turned around and grasped my wrist which makes me to grimaced in pain. 

“Don't hope that I'm bringing you there, Sofia. Stop asking me about it because my answer is no.” The tears that I was holding from earlier, streamed down in my eyes because of what Drake muttered. He is mad towards me and I could feel it. The way he grasped my hand, Drake didn't like the words I let out. 

“It hurts, Drake…” I muttered and which made him to released my hand. 

“If you wanted to avoid being hurt then stop pushing yourself to me because as what I have said towards you before, you will never succeed to your plans. I am Drake, an Alpha king, will never fall in love to a woman like you. If I have another option, I rather end our marriage as soon as possible.” 

Those painful words from Drake cut my heart into pieces. Tears won't stop from falling down in my eyes as I stared at him. 

“I will never stop with my plans, Drake. Hurt me with your painful words, but it'll never be a reason for me to give up.” I muttered to him and Drake just shake his head towards me. 

“You're disgusting, Sofia. Even if I hurt you multiple times, you are still here, enduring all the pain.” He said while shaking his head. 

“It's because I love you, Drake. Love can cover all the pain you showed to me and since I love you, I'm willing to endure all the pains for you, Drake.” I may sound a martyr again, but I don't care. 

Drake Grey is the man I love. No matter how bad his personality was, I don't care about it. Even if he's a lethal and ruthless Alpha, the love I have towards him will never change. 

“You are unbelievable, Sofia. No matter how I pushed you away from me, but here you are still enduring my personality.” Drake muttered and turn his body away from me. The moment that I was about to follow him when my feet hit the rock which I didn't notice. I grimaced in pain and sit down in the ground to message my foot. 

“Damn, it hurts.” I gritted my teeth in pain. I'm still in the middle of the forest, and it seems like, I can't move my legs because of the pain. The moment that I was about to force myself to walk when someone carries me which makes me astounded.
