"Don't worry. Every young person makes mistakes," Paxton said comfortingly.

"This is such a lowly mistake though…" Corbyn was feeling down in the dumps.

However, Paxton frowned. "But who reported us?"

Corbyn had a faint inkling as to who. He must have gotten played. Someone was out to get him because they wanted to see him fall. But if he hadn't been so lackadaisical, he wouldn't have fallen for it. At the heart of the matter, this was his failing. He couldn't blame anyone else.

Corbyn lowered his head, looking like the epitome of dejection.

Paxton sighed. His life thus far had been pretty smooth sailing, because he was related to the managing family and also because he was just working casually.

He never threatened anyone, so he had never been plotted against before. This was his first time coming into contact with an internal conflict within the company.

He patted Corbyn on the shoulder, unsure how to console him. "Well, will you still go to Merunica then?"
