Ivy
“Ivy, will you tell me what the hell is going on?” Gia asks me as I look over the bar in the main room of the suite. A full bar is needed for the way the people coming like to party. I sigh and keep working, hoping she will drop it. “Ivy,” her voice is firm telling me that she isn’t going to drop it.
“Fine,” I groan, “Carlos got an ID on the guy that tried to kill me.” I look down at the bar in front of me. I know for my plan to work I have to keep myself calm and I’m not sure that I can do that.
“Who?” Gia sounds scared. I know this isn’t her thing, but I also know she will stand by me.
“One of Uncle Dom’s men.” The gasp is loud causing me to cringe. “Everything will be fine. Max and Nico are going to talk to people and see what they can find out. I don’t just want the guy that did it, I want to know why.”
