They boarded the helicopter and Nancy admired the city lights below as they ascended. She was cooped up in Lloyds arm. Her chest resting on his comfortable and perfect chest and she could hear and feel his heart pounding gently.

She said nothing and relished in the comfort that his presence brought to her. She wondered if she ever truly stopped loving him.

She suddenly noticed she couldn’t see any more lights and everywhere below them had turned pitch black.

“Seriously Lloyd, where are we going?” She asked, sitting up and frowning her face. She was beginning to hate the suspense.

Lloyd chuckled at her expression. “Is your frown supposed to scare me into telling you?” He mocked, earning him a more nasty glare.

“We are no longer in the city, everything below is pitch black,” She replied, easing up her frown.

‘What part of surprise did this woman not understand?’ Lloyd mused.
