CHAPTER 5: LEO

“This is getting unbearable, I'm finding this hard” Grace complains in frustration”

“You look frustrated, what's up with you? Why the Glooming face?” 

I know, I ask stupid questions a lot, I knew why she was frustrated, she was hungry. call me a witch or a bitch I don't care. I was happy because for the first time she was feeling exactly what she has been lying about.

She kept on pasting up and down, murmuring to herself. All duo was fun to watch, I still felt bad for her, well cause of my good heart.

I walked up to her after getting the things I needed for the day.

“Grace, when you are done with pasting up and down could you please go get ready so we can get something to eat before class??“

Her eyes grow with surprise as a hug appears on her face.

“What a minute, so you are telling me we are going eat something this morning”

“Yes your royal foodie, we are. Now can you get ready so we can go??”

She ran to the wardrobe, she quickly put on her favorite black pencils skits and a white Porla collared wool jumper, it was white all through with a black collar and sleeves.

“All done, can we go now, I'm staving”. 

Graces smiles happily as she drags me out the door.

I had $20 with me, even duo I was still mad at her for going behind my back and part of me wants to eat only, I couldn't watch her go hungry, so I had to share.

8:15 pm

Grace kept on smiling at me ever since she came back from the phone call she was on, it was creepy but at the same time I was curious as to why she was happy, I mean we haven't had anything reasonable to eat all day and she been the foodie I know, she would have started complain and winning up and down but instead, she was happy.

“Grace what's up with the creepy smile, it's beginning to creep me out”

I couldn't hold myself any longer, I mean I had to know.

“Well my dear, I've solved our hunger problem for tonight” 

She replies smiling.

“And How did you solve that problem if I may ask???“

I sarcastically asked her.

“Hahaha funny Tory, but I have, well you remember my ex, Peter???“

Grace mentioned his name for the first time after a long time and without any sadness or pain in her eyes, wow, I couldn't believe my ears.

“Yes I do, Why??? Are you guys back together again”

I asked hoping the answer would be yes because I really liked seeing the both of them together, although what he did was wrong, I still wish they could fix things and be together again but my hope was short leaved when her answer was no.

“Hell no”

she screamed a little before quickly putting her emotions in check.

“I and Peter are never coming back together, not after what he did to me” 

“If you have to plains of fixing things with him then why mention his name???“

It was confusing, I couldn't get it, why would she mention the name of the same person you want to forget.

“Tory I was just asking if you still remember him, I never said we are getting back together, anyway I just remembered that his friend is starting close by, so I called him and he said we should come meet him at Marcella's Polaris restaurant, so go get dress because I'm starving”

I got up from bed, although I was both tired and stressed out I was happy we were going to get something to eat. 

I got my closet, which was unorganized and screened through my pile of clothes looking for what to wear, if there was anything I hated in this life is getting ready, it's so stressful sometimes I just wonder why can't we all move around naked, at least I won't have to worry about what to wear.

After digging and digging I finally got what to wear, I quickly put on my biro Blue mini skirt which had a cute little slit in front, a white off-shoulder tan top, and a black Fenty puma Rihanna slide, which I took from Gold's bag.

“I'm all set can we go now before you murder me with your nagging”

I said, teasingly.

“I can't believe you took that much time to get ready, it's not like you are going on a date or something” 

Grace teases back, as we walked down the staircase.

“Who knows Grace I might just run into the love of my life”

We continued joking and laughing as we head out

We finally got to Marcella's restaurant, we stood outside while Grace calls the guy we were going to meet.

It's didn't take long before we saw him come out from a Game shop close to Marcella's restaurant.

“Dim this dude is short but cute, he looks like a cute teddy”

I couldn't help but say how I felt, he was handsome.

He was dark-skinned, his height was around 5'3 to 5'4, he had the cutest small eyes I had ever seen, a well-shaped pointed noise, and the cutest smile that can make any girl's heart melt.

But I was in no mood for any relationship other than just friends, after everything I had gone through with Brendon, dating was not in my dictionary at that moment.

Grace hugged him as soon as he came close to us.

“Hi Leo, it's been a while, sorry for just calling you out of the blue”

“It's okay Grace anytime, let's go inside shall we?“ 

Leo smiles as he leads us inside the restaurant.

We took a seat and were waiting for the waitress to come take our orders when Grace started the introduction.

“Hmmm, Tory this is Leo a good friend of Peter and Leo this is Tory, my friend and roommate”

“It's nice meeting you Leo” 

I said looking at his small eyes wondering how he could eye clearly with those eyes.

“Same here Tory”

 he replied before concentrating on his phone again.

“I thought you said you were three, so where is the third person???“

He asked looking at Grace for an answer.

“She is on her way, she was a little bit busy”

Grace replied.

“Gold is coming???“ I asked whispering to her ears.

“Yes she is”

Grace whispered back.

It didn't take long after speaking about Gold she arrived. 

Grace introduced Gold to Leo, after that, we placed our orders.

We all had a nice time talking eating and laughing together.

After we were done eating, gold had to live after she did but I, Grace, and Leo headed for lover's garden, which happened to be a beach not too far from where we are

We go to the beach by 8 p.m. we talked gist making jokes and laughing we had no idea that we have spent so much time outside already it was 10 p.m, so we beat Leo goodbye and we left.

That was how I met Leo and that was the first day he came into my life and I had no idea you had no intentions of leaving anytime soon.

I thought we will never going to see each other again or even be friends little did I know that that day what's the beginning of something beautiful.
