CHAPTER 4: RAPHAEL & ENZOL

Tory was angry, she couldn't believe Grace could be so heartless,she stood at the door staring at Grace who had no idea she was there staring at her while she eats. it's been two weeks since the little money Tory had on her had run out, ever since then both Tory and Grace have been surviving on the little food which was barely enough for one person, which Tory gets from few guys who where trying to ask her out, not knowing each time she leaves the house to go look for food for both herself and Grace, Grace would get something to eat with the money her parents sent to her.

Tory was hurt, she had always took Grace as an elder sister and shared everything she had without thinking twice even if it wouldn't be enough for her so why would Grace be so selfish know that she had ulcer and can't stay hungry.

Tory was fed up with people always taking advantage of her kind heart, she was done with letting people use her.

She walks out of the compound and start heading towards a store not to far from where she was staying to get something to eat with the last $2 she had on her when she saw Raphael.

“O my God Raph is that you??“ Screamed as she quickly hugs him out of excitement.

It felt good seeing him again after almost a year.

“It's nice seeing you again too” he said happily, ever anger he felt towards her was no longer there.

Raphael and Tory also had a flame once, he was so in love with her but when she told him no after finding out she had started dating someone else after waiting for a close to a year he was heartbroken and angry at her, but he was happy to see her again after along time.

“When did you get back to town?” Tory who knew Raph was two years above in college asks.

“Today, I was home when my friend came to tell me that he saw a goddess on his way home today and after describing her I knew it was you, we where just heading to your place”

“Really?“ Tory smiles recognizing the guy standing close to Raphael as the guy who helped pay for her Transport back home from school.

“Hi, my name is Enzol” he quickly introduce himself still looking at her fascinated.

“I'm Tory” she replys 

“I came out to get something, but you can go to apartment Grace is at home” Grace told Raphael knowing that he also knew Grace because they attended the same high school together.

“Okay, I'll see you at home, but don't take too long, we have alot to cash up on” Raphael smiles as he leads Enzol to Tory's place.

Tory walks for an 1hr and 34mins before she gets to Marcella's Polaris restaurant, she couldn't afford to use the last money on her to pay for a bus tho get there.

She sat outside the restaurant tired and 

from walking for that long, she kept thinking where she could get food for $2. She was still thinking when Miss Cheryl comes out of the restaurant to talk to her.

“Hey Tory, I noticed you have been setting her for the past 10mins are you okay dear??, You look don't tell me you walked all the way here??. He asks has she looks at Tory.

“I did” Tory replys sadly. “I have only $2 on me and if I spend it on bus fair, I wouldn't be able to get something to eat”.

“Tory you what??, I'll help you pay for your food, you are a nice young lady so I'll love to help you out when ever I can.“ Cheryl ucers Tory into the restaurant as she asks one of the waitress to get Tory anything she wants.

Tory was really grateful, she thanked God and Cheryl for helping her out. She turns to the waitress who was already waiting for her order to get her a plate of tortellini and water.

“Tory you don't have to order from the kids Manu, I told you I'll pay” Cheryl who noticed Tory ordering from the kids Manu quickly informs her.

“I know Cheryl, you're helping me pay for my food already, the least I can do is not to order too much, the Tortellini is okay for me, you don't have to worry yourself” Tory assures her.

Cheryl nods with a small before telling the waitress who just can back with Tory's order she wouldn't be paying for the meal, so she shouldn't disturb Tory. 

“I'm going to check on the other customers, I'll see you around dear” she smiles at Tory before leaving her to check on the other customers.

The waitress came over to Tory's table as soon as she noticed she was done with her meal, she smiles at Tory as she hands Tory a $100 dollar bill.

“what's this for??“ Tory ask as she takes the money from the waitress looking puzzled.

“Miss Cheryl asked me to give it to you and to inform you that she has gone home for the day” the waitress answered before leaving with Tory's empty plates.

Tory let's out few tears of joy, she wasn't expecting anyone to help her out without wanting anything in return. She was greatful to both God and Cheryl for that meal.

She got up from her seat and walks out of the restaurant happy for the first after coming back.
