CHAPTER 3: MEN ARE FUNNY

"Tory, Tory, get up it's morning already" Grace informs Tory with a soft voice.

"Hey Good morning Grace, did you sleep close to me??" Tory asks looking surprised???

"Yes I did, I couldn't sleep inside with Henry, he also tried to touch me, and when I said no he said I should live the room" Grace explain laughing.

"I can't believe this guy, how cheap do they think we are??, and what on earth gave them that impression that we will have sex with them after meeting them for the first time???" Tory shook her head in disbelief.

"I don't know what happened to Humphrey, I know he was always published but that's to girls he already knows not the one he just met, anyways let's get home and fucking tired"

Grace and Tory walk home that cold morning still talking about last night incident, Tory apologized for not telling Grace about Humphrey's bad said, it didn't take long before they got home, the door to their apartment was already open, they both looked at each other shock and prayed and hope that it should just be their second roommate Gold and luckily it was her, Gold was back.

"Where did you guys spend the night, I came home early this morning only to find the house empty". Gold asks looking at both girls curiously because she knew both girls had no boyfriend in town, even Grace who used to have no longer done so where could they have been.

"I saw an old friend of mine yesterday, so we decided to spend the night over at his place so we could charge the phones and touch and stop looking at us like that" Tory said to Gold as she got on the bed.

"Like what???" Gold asking laughing.

"Girl you know what I'm talking about don't stress me, we spent last night dealing with unnecessary issues because I have a brainless friend who thinks with his dick instead of his head"Tory stretches her body causing her bones to make sounds.

"At least, no one disturb you, I had to fight thug of the way last night before I finally got some sleep and I still have to sleep with one eye open" Grace laughs about the situation as she explained what happened last night to Gold.

"What's wrong with that friend of yours T??" Gold asks laughing.

"Girl I have no idea I swear, we need to get something to eat, I'll go get some noodles, who what's to eat?"

"I don't feel like eating noodles, anyway don't worry about me am heading to my sister's place to get something". Gold who was already prepared to live informed Tory.

" Okay, I'll just get for me and Grace"

Tory left Grace alone at home as she left her to go get the noodles, a few shops away from her apartment.

"Tory, please wait up for me" a voice from behind called out to her.

Tort turned to see who it was only to find out that it was Humphrey.

"What do you want Humphrey??" Tory asks in a rude tone.

"I just want to apologize for my behavior last night, it was wrong and bad of me, and am sorry for it, I promise I'll apologize to Grace too I promise" Humphrey begged.

Tory had no idea if he was truly sorry or was just apologizing not to look bad but she just decided to give him a second chance.

"Fine, I forgive you but you still have to apologize to my friend for what you did, and if this ever happens again then you better forget you know me, are we clear??" She asked.

"Crystal clear, thank you, Tory I promise it will never happen again". Humphrey assures her.

" I've to go, Humphrey, I need to get something to eat" Tory left him still standing.

Tory got two noodles and two eggs for herself and Grace before she realized that she hadn't filled her gas and if she does she wouldn't have enough money to last her and Grace up to a week.

"Well, I pray God provides for us, I do". Torry said to herself to get the gas.
