BLAIR’S POV

With a public declaration of war, I could not comfortably live in the house.

It felt like I was walking on egg shells and constantly had to watch my back, since it was impossible to tell what Jane had up her sleeves.

I spent most of my time around my father and while I kept waiting for him to at least, question Jane on why she had to lie about my identity, he said nothing.

My heart sank into worry, with every passing day and I had nothing to do, but continue living in the peace they were all trying to pose.

Father never questioned her lying about my identity and Ashley went about, being the perfect daughter to Jane and my father.

Every time I would complain to my father about not questioning Jane’s running of the company, or any of her decisions at all, he would say,

“Jane has equally been through so much,

Making tons of sacrifices for the family and company.

She deserves a break, but because of me, she doesn’t get any.
