Chapter Five
*In Myozola*
Koyala and his team teleported to an abandoned building. It used to be their headquarters before they were forced to move out when the Force's soldiers kept on ambushing them.
"I can't imagine this used to be a fortress, a place where everyone knew they would be safe. Now look at how it is," said Maya. Maya's mother was a healer and had been taken captive by the Force. She hadn't heard from her for a very long time. She didn't even think she would be alive. The place brought back bad memories and Koyala understood, so he just went over to her and assured her that it would be over soon.
"Kralis, contact Kran. We need a location."
Kran was the inside man of the Rebel. He was a soldier to the Force's army but a devoted member of the Rebel. Kralis put his hands on both sides of his head and just like that connected to Kran.
"They are keeping him at Station Z. Kran says they are planning on draining the energy he poses. We have to go right now,"
"Okay everyone, ensure you are properly loaded. It is going to be a rough few minutes ahead," Koyala said.
Everyone packed their bullets; laser bullets, and put on armors resembling those of the Force then headed out to Station Z. They wanted to disguise themselves as the Force's soldiers because getting in there was not an easy task. The place was locked such that no powers could work whilst one was inside. It made one with no fighting skills but with superpowers useless as it deprived them of that energy.
Outside the gate there were four soldiers. Kralis used his abilities to compel them to sleep. The others rushed quickly to hide their bodies. Only six soldiers got inside the station, on Koyala's orders. It was Maya, Kralis, Kran who already was in the station, Jino, Klin and Koyala. He wanted it to be as smooth as possible. The place was heavily guarded. There were containers all over, those used for keeping the prisoners. They particularly wanted the one labelled Z-221, according to the information they were fed with by Kran. There were so many of the containers and each had four to five soldiers guarding it.
"When did they double the number of their soldiers?" Maya asked in disbelief. Finally, they spotted it. It had seven guards and its door was open.
"Seems like there's an activity going on in there. Okay, Maya takes those two. Kran, the other two are yours." Kralis was stronger and had better fighting skills. "Kralis, the remaining ones are yours. Jin, Klin and I are going to extract him, understood." Everybody nodded. "Okay, go,go,go."
Everything went smoothly and they were inside. Maya fought with passion, like she enjoyed it. She was fast and managed to dodge the punches and the daggers that came her way. Kralis hit three of the guys almost at the same time. The guy was strong, well built.
Inside the containment, Koyala got the shock of his life. There was a robot guarding Sam. Sam was in a bed with his hands and legs tied on both sides of the bed. There was a doctor with a needle in his hand and by the look of it, he had already injected the contents into Sam's system.
"This is new," commented Koyala.
Jin shot at the doctor but before it could reach him the robot blocked it with his shield. It moved so fast it surprised them all. It then approached them and began throwing punches. It hardly missed the targets.
"Let's hit it all at once and hit it hard,"Koyala told his crew. They tried and tried but it seemed like the robot was only growing stronger.
Kralis and Kran got in.
"It is learning your moves and using it against you. Go for the back, that is where it is powered from," Yelled Kralis.
It had already transformed its left fist into a sword. Maya ran from outside to come and hit it but it turned in her direction and shoved the sword into the right side of her stomach. After a lot of fighting, Koyala finally hit it in the back and it lost its stamina. He then hit it again and it fell on the ground. "Bastard."
Meanwhile the doctor took a knife and put it in Sam's neck threatening to kill him if they made a move. They all dropped their weapons. As the doctor was struggling to unstrap Sam's leg, Koyala quickly drew his gun from his back and shot at him.
"Quickly, unstrap him. We need to leave immediately. And we are taking the robot with us." Kralis quickly helped stop the bleeding from Maya's wound as Klin was carrying Sam out of the place. Koyala ordered Jin to help him with the robot. They quickly moved out of the Station and upon reaching the gate, Kralis said he had to remain behind to avoid raising suspicions.
They got outside the gate and found the rest of the team waiting for them. Koyala quickly snapped his fingers and they were back at the headquarters again. Sam could not speak or move.
"Quickly, put her here. We need to stop the bleeding. Lay him somewhere to rest. He has been injected with a neuromuscular drug to make him paralyzed. Quin, take this and do your thing (referring to the robot)."

I had been worried about Sam, I tried sleeping but I couldn't. When I heard Koyala's voice, I quickly dashed out of the room I was in to go confirm if my cousin was alright. I was stopped midway by Kran, he said Sam needed some rest and that I needed not to worry about him. I had particularly had a liking for Maya. She was the kind of woman I would have wanted so much to marry, only that she was three eyed, was short and had longer ears. What was I thinking? Anyways, she was being operated on and I was told to go back to my room. I needed answers so I rushed to Koyala's room, and Alas, I found him naked, bruising his wounds!
Chapter SixI was worried. That day was the biggest day in the whole country and the world at large, yet there we were, lying on the soft beds while our parents were worried sick about us. Sam was already awake and with Koyala in his office discussing whatever it was they were discussing. I had gone to the room Maya was in to check on her. It is not everyday that you get to see who has been stabbed survive, far worse that was a sword. They said it was an alloy of some metals and steel. Steel was bad for their health as it poisoned their blood making it clot. The team doctors had worked tirelessly on her not to lose her. She was Koyala's favorite and everything had to be done to keep her alive for him. Koyala had watched the whole operation from scratch till it came to an end. He just stared into the room through the glass wall. He was afraid she would not make it. There was a point her heart stopped beating and he

Chapter SevenI kept on imagining all the food I was to eat, and I'm sorry if I always think about food but it's a stage, just understand me. We had been promised that we would be taken swimming too in town, at the prestigious Jumia Hotel. Wendy was excited about the idea. She even bought herself a pair of swimming costumes and put it next to her bed, just in case someone tried to steal it. I woke up early the next morning despite having gone to bed late. I needed to prepare on time. I had not not even a second to lose. I went and switched on the television. They aired cool movies and animations on Christmas days and I was not willing to miss that year's.Mom got up and started cleaning the house as Aunt Faiza washed the dishes and prepared breakfast. Grandma went to check on her poultry as grandfather was still sleeping. It was going to be a great day indeed. Mustafa
IChapter One"Junior, get up! How many times do I have to shout at you just to wake you up?" my mother shouted from the living room. I never quite got enough sleep last night despite having gone to bed early. I think we, growing kids, need more time to sleep than anyone else. Sensing the anger in her voice I forcibly got myself up, though my eyelids refused to open at first no matter how hard I tried. Then all over sudden it struck me. Damn,I was late for school. Not again! I quickly got into my uniforms and without much hesitation rushed down for breakfast only to find my mother staring at me in a rather displeased way."Come on, really, why do you have that one on?""I'm late for school Mama, you didn't wake me up on time," I accused.
Chapter TwoOf all the friends that Sam had me introduced to, I particularly had a liking for Felix. He was unique in a way and we seemed to share the same interests, like the love for superheroes, most specifically the Superman guy. Eventually, we got bored of playing soccer and some of the kids we were playing with headed to their homes. It was too early for us to go home, so we decided to play Hide and Seek afterwards, a game in which you hide and someone has to find out where you are. It was only the three of us, Sam, Felix and I. You know how the kids back in the rurals are always controlled by the city kids? Well, Felix and I hid and I made Sam look for us. After struggling, he finally found us. It was then Felix's turn. We got into the bush to hide with Sam. I found a perfect spot but Sam seemed to have been attracted to the same spot so I moved to the next bush. Sam kept on following me, despite my attempts to stop him. We kept on moving from one point to th
Chapter Three"Can somebody please turn off the lights! God, why is it so bright in here? And what is that beeping sound, mom? Can't I just sleep peacefully, please," I complained. The room I was in was all bright and I could sense movements all around me. There was one bright light right on top of my face, as I was lying with my front side facing upwards. I assumed it was our room at grandma's place. The place seemed busier than grandma's house. I tried getting out of bed but I could not. I could feel neither of my limbs no matter how much I struggled."Take it easy, it is alright," came a voice out of nowhere."Who is there and where is grandpa?"
Chapter FourFour days had gone by with me trying my best to be mad at everybody, but you just know the stage I was in. Keeping my mouth shut was never an easy thing, especially to mom. I spent most of my time with my grandfather in the backyard. His stories were always amusing. I was fed up with staying there in the rurals, but what could I do, whatever mom said, was final. After all, we had come for the Christmas celebrations and it was like a week to the day. I had not even thought of Sam. He always came to look for me immediately when he took his breakfast, but that day he had not come yet. So that afternoon I sought to go look for him. Staying indoors was hectic, I wondered how grandpa managed to do so the whole day, all week.
