Tears full my eyes as I recalled everything, maybe if only I dint left my aunt because she is lonely and boring, maybe I will not be stocked in here working my ass out, getting abused, insulted and beaten.

I suddenly heard noises coming from the sides of the kitchen.

I walked to the spot, crazy Omegas choosing cloths to wear.

"You know I had to look beautiful, Alpha Dean is also coming for the annual new moon celebration." One of the omegas said and giggled.

"Can you believe it, he is brave, tough, handsome and the youngest Alpha of all packs, I just can't wait to see him."

Another replied.

In some reason, I also find my self giggling, I'm a common human but I also can't wait to see the Alpha Dean, greatest of all time.

(Alpha Dane's POV)

Red is already working his way to another omega and I just roll my eyes.

Red is my beta and my closest friend. We are at a party thrown on behalf of the pack and because I absolutely have to be present, I am here.

I have never been that type of Alpha. I mean, me? With everything that I am and can be? Waste away my time with Omegas whose name I definitely would just remember after a few minutes of fucking them? Hell naw.

'You should get a hot wolf for yourself, Alpha, the wolf in me is burning up just at the sight before me and the promises of things to come'

Red mindlinks me and I sincerely want to cough out blood. Did he have to?

'Fuck you Red.' I answer him and take my mind off his antics actively.

I look around, maybe I'll find something of interest to me. Who knows? I reason. I take a sweep of my surroundings and it is then that I notice that must of the omegas, most of the omegas are staring at me and occasionally whispering.

The urge to roll my eyes at them is very overwhelming but since it's a large party, I couldn't just help keeping my cool.

One of the omegas wolf nearby walks toward me boldly to hit on me, I suppose.

"Hey alpha.." the wolf purrs and immediately I growl at her almost baring my fangs and immediately, she makes a quick backtrack..

Sighs.

These wolves just wanted to fuck me and probably have me demystified but there's no way I can allow this to happen..

I'm waiting patiently for my Luna. My fated mate, bestowed first by the moon goddess. I would rather keep myself for her than let these girls simp on me, Dane Entrida.

Red is no more in sight and as much as I need company, I recognise that I can't disturb him at this moment. It's not like if it was absolutely important, I couldn't get him to leave the horny wolves, but it isn't, and i'm just lonely.

I stand up from where I've been sitting all this while and I walk down to where the drinks are. I ask for some shots which I get and I down them quickly as if they'll take care of the bile I can almost feel in my throat.

"Alpha Dane.." I hear someone call out my name and wondering who it could be, I turn back to find out.

Oh! "Alpha Marino.. fancy seeing you here. How is the pack?"

"The pack is alright, Alpha Dane. You looked so bored and abandoned.." he says and winks at me. Alpha Marino is one of the young alphas who is pack master of his own pack, like me. It is really rare that someone as young as we are is alpha over packs like our..

"Oh! Right! Almost forgot. Did you hear?" Alpha Marino asks me and I'm suddenly confused. Hear what?

"The annual moon ceremony would be holding at the Alfonso pack, for the new moon..." He tells me and I want to kick myself. The new moon ceremony! I had almost forgotten about that, of course!

"Thank you Alpha Marino for the timely reminder, I didn't have it in mind at all and in any way. Of course, I'll be there.."

"Oh. And I heard that many females wolves will be in attendance. Or at least, those from the nearby territories.." Alpha Marino finished before sauntering away, a half smile on his face that I want to wipe off.

'what is he smiling like that for?' I grumble to myself. After talking to alpha Marino, I'm just undone and restless as if something's coming but I can't figure out what. All my senses seem to have pricked up alertly and for what reason because I have absolutely no idea. After a while of dilly dallying, I return to my house in the pack after mindlinking Red, the already unavailable beta that is supposedly mine. Sighs.

When I get to my room, the first I do is to take a hot shower and relax myself. I get into comfortable clothes and out of the clothes for the ceremonial party that is still going on, and I start to work on some official documents that require my attention. Though I am not the pack master of the pack, due to my being one of the overall greatest alpha in the pack, I am unanimously considered to be important and deserving of duties like this to the pack.

I work on the documents for quite a long while and just as I am about to conclude, I find that the last document is on the Alfonso pack. Interested, I flip through carefully, there are details on how the moon ceremony is supposed to go and the duties of my Enchil pack at the moon ceremony. We are only just expected to celebrate with them, I find out as I read through. Cause it seems like the actual things to do as a visiting and celebrating pack have been shared among the lesser neighbouring packs.

There isn't so much information on the Alfonso pack, even on here, so I make up my mind to pay them a visit. Of course, not specially, just at the moon ceremony.
