Chapter 14
EUREKA FOUND HERSELF standing on a sea of smooth glass, it was transparent, she could see stars and galaxies beneath it, looking up– she realized that what she saw below was the reflection of what’s above.
‘Am I dead? Is this heaven?’ She thought frantically.
‘No, you are not dead Eureka, and this is not heaven; You’re in the Astral plane,’ A voice spoke.
“The Astral plane? Who are you?” She asked.
‘My name is Andy,’ came the answer.
“You’re the AI, the Artificially Intelligent Operating System,” Eureka said smiling.
‘Correct,’ Andy responded.
Eureka cupped her hands and placed them on her cheeks, not out of cold but out of habit. Than she did a double take at her hands and she screamed!
<Chapter 15WILLY MUST HAVE dozed off, the cold woke him up. He had slept while sitting, waiting for Eureka to return.Lillian was sitting in a curled up, as comfortable as much as possible position on that other armchair, breathing softly in a soundless sleep.“Kid—kid,” Willy said shaking her awake. She woke up reluctantly, her eyes were red, much deprived of sleep.“Go to your room and get some good sleep, we’ve been up all night,” Willy said to her.She looked at the direction that the empty floating transparent energy tube had been previously, but it had disappeared!“Is she back?” she asked staring at Willy,“No, not yet. But please go to your room and get some sleep,” Willy said to her.She nodded and stood up stretching herself, “Come on Rudolf, let’s go.”Her voice was slightly raspy from deprived slee
Chapter 16WHAT LAY BENEATH the pink clouds made Eureka gasp in surprise:“The Rainbow forest land!” exclaimed Orea.It was miles and miles of colourful glittering trees of multi-coloured leaves of rainbow colours.“From a distance it gives off those rainbow hues but if we get closer you will realize that most of the trees are purple or green in colour,” Orea explained grasping on the reigns of her flying unicorn.“What are those?” Eureka said pointing down. “Are they tree houses? Those trees must be huge!”“Yes that’s a village belonging to the Succubinos, you’re right the trees in our world are huge, the tallest can stand 200 meters or even more higher than that, from its base to the tip,” Orea said. They reached a much more impressive looking Succubino village: it had sky bridges connecting each tree houses from
Chapter 17LILLIAN WOKE UP SLOWLY, she had a sour feeling in her mouth, she realized that due to the recent irregular sleeping pattern that she was having, she hadn’t brushed her teeth the whole of yesterday.Rudolf laid on the floor resting his head on his front paws, he raised his head and his tail thumped the floor softly, when Lillian walked past him to the bathroom.Lillian brushed her teeth and had a shower. She took off what she had been wearing for the past two days now and wore some fresh clothes, she wore a white clean sweater and her long shredded denim jeans pants. For her feet she wore a pair of common converse shoes. She had just finished brushing and tying her blond hair into a neat ponytail behind her head with a black hair tie, when the knock sounded on her door,It was a topic of paranoia, the gut feeling that one day she would open the door and see a complete stranger standing there with G
Chapter 18THE DOZEN MEN rushed at him in an onslaught all at once, with each block or parry the Stranger would send one or two of his attackers flying backwards or forward with a single skilful punch, uppercut or jab. With the use of his attacker’s own momentum, that he was using as weapon against each one of them. The fallen men behind him who stood up behind him, would be greeted yet again and again with the Stranger’s left, or right foot and they would fall down yet again, and again. The Stranger looked healthier and all the more vigorous, more and more than ever, as the fight progressed on, while the men looked torn, exhausted, broken and defeated, more and more. Most of them were nursing a broken hand or a broken foot, or both by now.The Stranger had accomplished all that, while still keeping his left hand behind his back!He had fought with only one arm, his right arm.More than just one-man spit to the floo
Chapter 19TRISTAN REMOVED the mooring lines from the cleats, the stern-lines and the bow-lines,He started the engine, it was an easy key start. And he gently reverse manoeuvred the boat out of the pylons. When the boat was clear out he shifted the gear to forward and eased the boat onwards, he throttled the engine and the boat picked up speed:“I’m sorry I forgot, there’s life jackets in that hatch,” Tristan said pointing.Lillian stooped down and fiddled with the latch opening it, Tristan was standing waiting calmly behind the steer for the duo to put on the life jackets, even Rudolf had one on, that done; Tristan revved forward the throttle and picked up speed.Lillian’s adrenaline pumped faster as the boat went faster, the wind hitting her face, feeling slightly dizzy she sat down on the long faded brown leather lounge seat. The Bird Island was a speck on the horizon, soon
Chapter 20A DEEP SADNESS was felt automatically, as the pair wordlessly contemplated the massive loss of animal lives: the birds, the Galapagos tortoises, the plants that they fed on, the insects and of course the other lizards all gone now, lost forever.Tristan carefully concealed a deep seated anger he now felt for the person responsible for all these, but he felt helpless as he thought of how justice for the evil crime will never be meted out to the perpetrator.“Is it poisonous or can it bite?” Tristan asked breaking the awfully painful sad silence.“No,” Lillian replied. “I don’t think it bites, or it’s poisonous, I mean that’s from what I have researched about, I wrote an essay composition in school.”Tristan had reached out of the boat’s starboard side to haul the small creature in.“Wait–” Lillian said, but she was late, Trista
Chapter 21-IT WAS ALREADY past 4:00pm,Willy was standing on the balcony of the first floor.Willy Goodwill was perplexed, why didn’t Lillian and Rudolf come out for lunch? He had walked past Lillian’s room at 1pm and knocked before proceeding to the dining area of the resort but there was no reply,He had thought that probably the kid did not want to be disturbed, sometimes you had a too big breakfast and you decided to skip lunch that kind of a thing, probably. But—Still it was unsettling, Willy couldn’t let that one pass; he had to make sure—Willy left the balcony and went towards Lillian’s room, he knocked again and waited, no reply. He switched on the phantom effect and he went through the door like a ghost. They were gone! Willy felt panic hit him like an overloaded semi-trailer.. . . . .Meanwhile
Chapter 228:30PM, LILLIAN was in her room in the resort:She was so tired, she went to bed early, after a warm healthy dinner of salad niçoise and tuna, and spaghetti pie casserole for comfort, Rudolf had bacon and milk. She had a shower and she went early to bed, Rudolf was also eager to retire early and he slept at his usual place and that was at the foot of her bed. Lillian’s mind was slowly replaying the entire events of the day as she laid on her bed, breathing softly:After Tristan had jumped off into the sea, Eureka and Lillian had circled around the whole sea area near the jetty calling his name frantically, but it was of no use, Tristan had totally disappeared. When they had returned to the jetty and carefully strapped the boat securely with the mooring lines, they went and alerted the resort’s staff who further alerted the responsible authorities who organised a massive search and rescue attempt for Trist
Chapter 47It was getting late but Wendy told Moe to stay and use the visitor’s room. To sleep for the night, because every noise outside would make Moe always nearly jump out of his skin in fright each time. And the evening news on the telly was not even helping either. The news anchor-man said: “Although the GDTF: Which is the acronym for the Global Defence Task Force led by one Tony Freemont. And their handful of brave allies put up a good fight against the horde of invading blue demons. The game changer came when the first gigantic Godzilla-like creature emerged from the portal, followed almost soon after, by two of its smaller versions—” Moe was sitting in the lounge staring with bulging eyes that were firmly glued to the flat screen television, while Wendy was in the kitchen preparing an early dinner. As it was already evening.A circular wall of energy appeared to the left of Moe and a surprised M
Chapter 46Wendy answered the door bell by opening the door:Strange news was being aired on the TV; her visitor was a little man just above four feet high. He was a Mexican. He stared nervously at the double barrelled shotgun in Wendy’s hand, it belonged to her father.“Yes?” Wendy enquired.“Senora?! Sorry, my many apologies,” the little man said his eyes darting away from the gun and went upwards to Wendy. “But I thought one Senor Willy Goodwill might live here?”“Oh right! He did mention you, you’re Moe Right?” Wendy smiled slightly.Moe nodded frantically. He was about to say something else, but he was interrupted by a loud commotion behind him on the street outside. As onlookers and bystanders ran screaming, trying to escape from a mob of blue demons.A pair of demons broke free from the mob and came over the front lawn towards Moe and
Chapter 45“Get the portable cannons! Now!” Freemont yelled back at his men.The fighting had temporarily stopped, as both sides stared back at the fearful sight before them. The Succubino army were trembling at the sight of that dreadful Graguantular.Nerma and four other members of the GDTF quickly rushed forward, with the portable shoulder cannons resting on their shoulders.Nerma let go of the first three series of rounds followed by his counterparts. The level four missiles hit the giant creature square on the abdomen and neck and exploded creating a blinding series of lights.“Give it everything you got! Empty it!” Freemont barked.Nerma and his colleges complied, sending rounds after rounds of level four missiles at it.“I’m out!” Nerma announced. The others were out too.As the series of blinding lights cleared off. A roar of triumph went up from thei
Chapter 44Previously in the Succubus realm:Orea was feeling quite depressed, as she was in throes of despair and grief. She had personally hand fed both Skylar and Bessy when they were just practically, mere foals. And understandably it was the same as losing two of her own children. But the fact was: They were not related and were meant to breed together. They had carried her and Eureka: For Eureka’s first time tour of the Succubus Realm. Later Lillian became quite fond of Bessy and she was assigned to be Lillian’s for an indefinite period of time.Orea had suspected recently that Bessy may have been pregnant, now there was no way of telling and the foal within her was forcibly and cruelly denied the right to live.Orea stifled a low moan within herself, as she lay there in the large steel bar cage covered in her own grief and self-pity, Rudolf lay near her staring at her with a cocked head and whined worriedly.
Chapter 43Orea felt something licking her face as she came to slowly, she opened her eyes slowly, she was in a huge steel-bar cage and it was Rudolf (Lillian’s dog) that was licking her face; she sat up groggily. And tried to move her hands, she realised that her hands were chained and she was in a giant cage with Rudolf on the landing of the throne room!Seated above on the throne, Mirage Maja was sneering down at her, “How do you like it? I had that wretched mutt belonging to your friends thrown in to keep you company.”Orea said nothing in reply: She was the type of person who accepted her defeat and fate without complaint or question.Orea thought of Primuh, she could vaguely remember the giant Succubino saving her and they were fleeing and then she must have passed out. Because she couldn’t remember anything at all clearly, up to this moment. She hoped Primuh was okay. And yes Skylar and Bessy!
Chapter 42IT WAS ALL TOO QUICK, Primuh stood there bracing himself, some of the shards of sharp energy did hit him. But due to the durable nature of his muscular, massive eight-foot body: Which was on par with his twin brother Orbin and also the damage was only fleeting if there were any. As his body had the natural ability to heal quickly.Primuh now stared in horror at the body lying motionless near his feet now, it was Orea! And she was badly injured! As the remaining warriors saw that Orea was lying on the floor dying with the rest of their other friends, they rushed past Primuh and went straight towards the evil former queen with primitive weapons such as the long spears, battle axes and swords. She allowed them to get closer, then she began killing them with an array of cleverly displayed fighting skills. In her hand now was and energy sword and a dagger that weren’t there previously. She began to cut them down with a lig
Chapter 41“WENDY?” WILLY CALLED after her, “It’s not what you think, I can explain!”“Oh it’s exactly what she thinks it is, just let her go,” Eureka said rolling her eyes with her hands on her hips.Willy held up his right pointer finger at her to shush her. And he went after Wendy, it was a disaster!Willy caught up with Wendy a few yards away and she turned to face him like a furious cat.“Look honey I did not know you were standing there, how--?” Willy began.“You did not know I was standing there? While you were making out with that b**ch?!” She flared up at him.“Hey, don’t you ever call me that! B**ch,” Eureka called back a few distance away.“Oh yeah? Hey look! This is all just-- way beneath me, you can have each other I’m out,” Wendy said throwing up her hands in resignation.Willy st
Chapter 40WITH EVEN HER EYES CLOSED Wendy could feel an intense heat, was she dead? Maybe she was in hell now, she opened her eyes:She was amazed to see another female, standing amongst them, she was much like the older version of Lillian.“Guys?” Wendy began.“Euree?” Lillian said overly glad to see her older sister.Eureka had created an impenetrable force field shield around them and the constant continuous energy blast from Gaxgs was being deflected.“My Queen!” Mahali was elated. Although she also sniffled a tear or two when she had thought of Orbin, she wished he was not badly hurt and that his body was durable enough to receive that massive energy blast.“Willy please teleport my sister and the other ladies out of the way, I can’t hold up this shield much longer!” Eureka said.“Okay here goes,” Willy said shutting his eyes and he con
Chapter 39THE GROUP OF COLLABORATORS met the duo with a bang, in a flurry of fists and kicks. Orbin mowed through them like grass, he would send them in packs of twos or threes hurtling backwards with a series of single punches or kicks.About ten of them tried to pin the reptilian down in a group hug, but with a mighty guttural roar the reptilian summoned all his strength and he sent them hurtling through the air like leaves. The Irish giant was not just content about just standing there idle and watching the show, he wanted a part of it. He had an evil grin on his face as he advanced past the big fight and he headed for Willy and the three females.“I’m going to turn you into an infester right in front of your wife and those two little twats!” The Irish giant jeered at Willy as he advanced towards them.“How about that? You big oversized jerk!” Mahali yelled and she threw a stunt bomb at the gia
