Chapter 6
SHE WAS LEAVING: Wendy was walking towards the crowded people. Willy stood there for a while and watched her go, she was as graceful as a deer; even in her non revealingly outfit that she was in, she was simply beautiful to watch. She was in those same outfit that she had worn in the morning. She was on her way home now. Willy loved the way she had tied her hair back in a relaxed fish tail behind her, it simply looked good on her. Not that Willy was a judge on hair styles, but everything that Wendy did seemed perfect him.
Willy stood still watching till she was hidden from view. Than he went inside the cafe again; drank an iced tea and had a couple of cinnamon buns and he decided what his next move should be.
. . . . .
It was now past mid-day:
Without any particular reason Willy thought about the conversation that he had a few weeks ago– he had that conversation with someone whom he had considered to be a good friend; the friend was Kor-cher Sipo, an immigrant.
The conversation was of course— about Wendy, who was looking for Willy to thank him once again for helping her, and to enlist Willy on a social welfare program; Wendy Rivers was a community social worker.
The two friends were sitting on a park bench, warming themselves in the early morning sunlight. It was a cold morning:
Every living thing; men or beast were all out enjoying the warm rays of sunlight— in an almost automatic synchronised frenzy that morning: weeks ago. Whether it was, their skins or furs or feathers; that gladly drank the warm sunlight, it was evident that the sun was of a major essence for every breathing creature’s survival.
“My friend why the long face?" Kor’cher had asked.
The lizards that had came out to sun themselves in that early morning sunshine regarded the two friends lazily, they saw them not as a threat, but as fellow early morning sunbathers.
The birds regarded them with a gleeful amusement. While the squirrels' chittering was surreal.
Kor'cher followed Willy's gaze. “Wendy the girl I told you about, she was looking— she was searching for me, but I am ashamed of what I am, that's why I hid from her.”
Kor-cher Sipo just nodded and said, “It's not the pretty face that will make your life full, it's a beautiful heart: that will make your life full.”
Willy now stood there remembering those wise words of his friend, Kor’cher Sipo.
. . . . .
After Wendy had left:
Willy knew he had to release the content of the culture-tube far away from the city of New York.
Far away from, especially Wendy Rivers and far away from even his friend Kor’cher ; far away– as much as possible.
. . . . .
Willy had to find a safe place to request to Andy, for a passage way to China: A portal.
He approached an alley way.
‘Andy generate a passage way from here to China please,' Willy requested by thought wave to Andy.
‘Wait Andy—’ Willy said suddenly,
He could hear voices, and now there it was again— a male voice,
The voice was threatening some-one.
Willy had to investigate, he went around the corner, he had used the Enabler to be invisible.
He now, could clearly see who it was, and what it was all about—
It was they:
It was a thug, probably one of Jack Savage or Nixon Rack's friends,
But the thug was a Coloured person, light in complexion, with an afro and he was quite skinny and tall. He was very tall, about 6 foot 7 inches.
That thug was pointing a knife threateningly and menacingly at a lady, she was carrying a black heavy hand bag. The lady was about the same height as Wendy about 5 foot 8 inches tall, but was more profoundly build; She had short yellow permed hair and she was in a baggy white and dark polka dot dress. The lady had a small child with her.
“Hand your purse over right this instant or else, —” The thug yelled waving the knife menacingly in front of the lady’s face.
Right at that moment, Willy realized just who that little boy was. The boy was now cowering with fear behind the lady– who appeared to be his mother.
He recognised the boy as the same little boy, who had previously in the morning– dropped his lollypop in surprise: When he had seen Willy appear– just smack out of the pure thin air,
It was that little boy— because, the little boy was still wearing that, same recognisable white Pokémon print t-shirt and the red bucket hat.
At the sight of such injustice taking place, Willy suddenly felt a thick mad rage take over his entire being—
“Oh else what?” Willy's voice resounded suddenly with a severe and dangerous tone.
That now startled the thug, who turned and stared at the empty alleyway in surprise, there was no one there—
It gave the lady just ample time to swing her heavy handbag at the thug, with—
—unfortunately not enough force or power to knock the thug out, since she was just a lady swinging it,
It grazed the knife wielding thug's chin, the thug bellowed with rage and pain.
The thug then– drove the blade of his knife towards home, towards the lady’s heart.
But before the knife could stab the lady's chest and enter right into her heart, killing her instantly; It stopped! It was just inches away from penetrating her flesh and entering her heart. The knife stopped.
An invisible and powerful hand had grabbed the thug’s right hand— that was about to plunge that knife, stopping it in mid-air!
The next instant there was a loud crack—and the thug fell dazed onto the pavement with a broken jaw!
“I am very sorry ma'am,” Willy found himself saying.
At first the lady was shocked, seeing that it was just the wind talking to her. She then regained her composure and said politely, now un-afraid — “I cannot see you and I don’t know who you are, but— thank-you! On behalf of my son and myself, I want you to know that you’re a good person— thank-you!”
Willy blushed deeply, luckily he was invisible, thanks to the Enabler.
The lady or the child could not see him blush.
“Mummy, it’s the invisible Man!” the child exclaimed, excited suddenly.
Having tasted heroism, Willy decided that he wanted to do one or two more heroic deeds, before he departed for China: He was in vigilante mode.
After the police had arrived at the scene and handcuffed the thug, Willy slipped away quietly— but, not before he overhead the boy's mother trying frantically, to explain to the baffled police officers, that it was the invisible Man who had prevented the crime—
Willy smiled as he was slipping quietly away, the police officers could not see him and nor could they see him go.
He had left the scene of the attempted mugging and was in another abandoned alley.
‘Andy?' Willy thought again. ‘Are you reading me?'
Interesting concept. Can a telepath read thoughts— or can he hear them?
‘Loud and clear!’ Andy’s voice suddenly reverberated suddenly in his head.
Willy wasn’t sure if Andy was just showing off with sound effects or was it just a normal thing.
‘What is it?’ Andy asked.
‘Andy please, can you use your intelligence to locate another crime in progress please? And give me an access portal to it!’ Willy transmitted the thought to Andy.
‘Sure, agent O2, You’re the agent of Order. It’s good, now that you’ve decided to stand up to your role,’ Andy sounded pleased. ‘But when are you going to China?’
“As soon as after I’m done, dealing with one or two more of the social disarrays first— as soon as I correct them, then I will be prepared to set foot on China,” Willy said out loud verbally.
. . . . .
In another part of the New York city a Mexican shop owner of a very diminutive stature was about to call it a day and close his shop, it was already past 5pm:
The Mexican's name was Moe—but, he realized that there were still a few customers loitering about within the shop, checking staff on the shelves— it was just the two heavily built males,
He'll wait: They were his customers, after the two men had left he will close shop, and call it a day.
He was just about to go towards the customer entry-exit, to turn the– ‘Welcome we're open’ sign to the ‘Sorry we’re closed’ at the back part of the sign— to discourage any further passing pedestrians from coming in.
Then after that, he would have come back to his position behind the cash register, and resume waiting for the two grown males to leave. But unfortunately the evening did not go as smoothly as Moe thought it would.
Moe was slightly bigger than any other actual size midgets, but he was just about 4 foot ten inches tall in height. Still he was a very small man.
He had not even climbed down— the stool behind the cash register that made him appear taller, when the two man, quickly turned and came right over at him.
They had black ski masks on now – and the shorter man was holding a hand gun.
“Hi, there amigos, wha–what can I do for you?” Moe asked shakily.
The two big men, both towered over him. The shorter, more profoundly built guy leered at him menacingly, “You dirty little man, we are not here for your salsa— Moe!”
Moe's heart sank, now that he thought he knew exactly, why they were there.
The one speaking, appeared to be Caucasian and so was probably his friend, the taller man also, they both had ski masks on, so the only way Moe could tell was by their voices and by their other visible features.
“I am very sorry amigo, my aunt Maria in Puerto Rico, she was so sick, doctors said she needed expensive surgery, so I sent her all the money I have and now I’m broke,” Moe said shakily, a few tears were at the verge of falling down his eyes.
“F**k your excuses Moe — you should have never, had lagged, so way – way behind on your protection payments, we are going to set an example to the others by you — you little dimwit–twit!” The shorter man said viciously,
And he raised the 9mm pistol aiming it at the poor trembling Moe’s head.
“Any last words?!” sneered the monster.
“Oh amigo – Mercy – Mercy, Please! Have mercy—” Moe begged for his life.
“F**k you!” the heartless man yelled, and he pulled the trigger —
Moe had closed his eyes cringing with fear, and he had braced himself waiting for the expected final impact of that exploding bullet —
There was a loud bang! There it came now – that was it. The bullet was coming — Moe was about to become history.
Chapter 47It was getting late but Wendy told Moe to stay and use the visitor’s room. To sleep for the night, because every noise outside would make Moe always nearly jump out of his skin in fright each time. And the evening news on the telly was not even helping either. The news anchor-man said: “Although the GDTF: Which is the acronym for the Global Defence Task Force led by one Tony Freemont. And their handful of brave allies put up a good fight against the horde of invading blue demons. The game changer came when the first gigantic Godzilla-like creature emerged from the portal, followed almost soon after, by two of its smaller versions—” Moe was sitting in the lounge staring with bulging eyes that were firmly glued to the flat screen television, while Wendy was in the kitchen preparing an early dinner. As it was already evening.A circular wall of energy appeared to the left of Moe and a surprised M
Chapter 46Wendy answered the door bell by opening the door:Strange news was being aired on the TV; her visitor was a little man just above four feet high. He was a Mexican. He stared nervously at the double barrelled shotgun in Wendy’s hand, it belonged to her father.“Yes?” Wendy enquired.“Senora?! Sorry, my many apologies,” the little man said his eyes darting away from the gun and went upwards to Wendy. “But I thought one Senor Willy Goodwill might live here?”“Oh right! He did mention you, you’re Moe Right?” Wendy smiled slightly.Moe nodded frantically. He was about to say something else, but he was interrupted by a loud commotion behind him on the street outside. As onlookers and bystanders ran screaming, trying to escape from a mob of blue demons.A pair of demons broke free from the mob and came over the front lawn towards Moe and
Chapter 45“Get the portable cannons! Now!” Freemont yelled back at his men.The fighting had temporarily stopped, as both sides stared back at the fearful sight before them. The Succubino army were trembling at the sight of that dreadful Graguantular.Nerma and four other members of the GDTF quickly rushed forward, with the portable shoulder cannons resting on their shoulders.Nerma let go of the first three series of rounds followed by his counterparts. The level four missiles hit the giant creature square on the abdomen and neck and exploded creating a blinding series of lights.“Give it everything you got! Empty it!” Freemont barked.Nerma and his colleges complied, sending rounds after rounds of level four missiles at it.“I’m out!” Nerma announced. The others were out too.As the series of blinding lights cleared off. A roar of triumph went up from thei
Chapter 44Previously in the Succubus realm:Orea was feeling quite depressed, as she was in throes of despair and grief. She had personally hand fed both Skylar and Bessy when they were just practically, mere foals. And understandably it was the same as losing two of her own children. But the fact was: They were not related and were meant to breed together. They had carried her and Eureka: For Eureka’s first time tour of the Succubus Realm. Later Lillian became quite fond of Bessy and she was assigned to be Lillian’s for an indefinite period of time.Orea had suspected recently that Bessy may have been pregnant, now there was no way of telling and the foal within her was forcibly and cruelly denied the right to live.Orea stifled a low moan within herself, as she lay there in the large steel bar cage covered in her own grief and self-pity, Rudolf lay near her staring at her with a cocked head and whined worriedly.
Chapter 43Orea felt something licking her face as she came to slowly, she opened her eyes slowly, she was in a huge steel-bar cage and it was Rudolf (Lillian’s dog) that was licking her face; she sat up groggily. And tried to move her hands, she realised that her hands were chained and she was in a giant cage with Rudolf on the landing of the throne room!Seated above on the throne, Mirage Maja was sneering down at her, “How do you like it? I had that wretched mutt belonging to your friends thrown in to keep you company.”Orea said nothing in reply: She was the type of person who accepted her defeat and fate without complaint or question.Orea thought of Primuh, she could vaguely remember the giant Succubino saving her and they were fleeing and then she must have passed out. Because she couldn’t remember anything at all clearly, up to this moment. She hoped Primuh was okay. And yes Skylar and Bessy!
Chapter 42IT WAS ALL TOO QUICK, Primuh stood there bracing himself, some of the shards of sharp energy did hit him. But due to the durable nature of his muscular, massive eight-foot body: Which was on par with his twin brother Orbin and also the damage was only fleeting if there were any. As his body had the natural ability to heal quickly.Primuh now stared in horror at the body lying motionless near his feet now, it was Orea! And she was badly injured! As the remaining warriors saw that Orea was lying on the floor dying with the rest of their other friends, they rushed past Primuh and went straight towards the evil former queen with primitive weapons such as the long spears, battle axes and swords. She allowed them to get closer, then she began killing them with an array of cleverly displayed fighting skills. In her hand now was and energy sword and a dagger that weren’t there previously. She began to cut them down with a lig
