Luna frowned; not only did she have to keep Ashford's identity a secret, but She also had to hide their mate bond.

“Why do you say that?” Luna asked her wolf.

Una scoffed. “Don't you get it? If you tell them that you are mated to him, do you know the threat you are creating?”

Luna's gaze fell. “What kind of threat is it?"

“If you tell them about your mate bond, you will create the risk of getting the two men into enemies, and when that happens, Ashford's identity would be exposed; you will no longer be able to stay in the pack, and then you will be killed.”

“Oh?” Luna cringed at the thought of them killing her.
