Luna was silent, as was Ashford. He never expected Adrian to say that to her. Ashford was waiting for her response more than Adrian was expecting.

Adrian didn't mind what she was going to say. As long as she accepted him and stayed with his mate, he was less worried.

“Fine, I wouldn't reject you,” Luna stated.

A bright smile appeared on his face as he heard that. “Am I forgiven?”

“No.” She responded. “I am going to keep you informed in case you want to murder me."

Adrian liked the sound of that; it was better than her rejecting him.

“Now that I think about it," Una muttered. “I think we cannot reject Adrian.”

Luna frowned. “What do you mean?”

“We are connected to his wolf, Luna. His wolf keeps us safe; I don't know, but he is trying to speak to us.”

“Who?”

“Rain.”

“His wolf?"

“Yes, he cares about us.” Una crackled. “He wants us, so I guess it's the same for Adrian.”

“I don't want him.” Luna choked out. “He is a jerk.”

“Blah blah blah, Ashford's listening. We will talk about this later
