CHAPTER 32

Luna was mad at him; she was trying hard to control herself from hitting a pulp.

“Aren't you forbidden?” He asked. “I am the only one that can get married to you."

She slapped him again, but this time it was harder than the previous time.

“If that's what you think of me and you want to be with Alexa, I am going to grant that wish,” Luna said.

Adrian rubbed his sore cheek, and he glared at her. Luna couldn't tell what was wrong with his behavior.

“We. Are. Done.” She trembled as she spoke; the first step she thought was going to help her get accepted into the pack wasn't going to work out.

She wanted to get engaged to Adrian to be accepted into the pack, but it was useless. She was going to be seen as some forbidden pest by him. She knew she deserved more than that, so she forced her quivering lips to move.
