CHAPTER 1:

Adrianna had tears in her eyes as she approached the door before her. She had arrived at the Four Stars Hotel because she had received a message from her boyfriend.

He said that he was in distress and she had rushed to the hotel.

"Dave, ahh…" Adrianna could hear the moans and screams of a lady. Dave was her boyfriend and fear gripped her heart.

What was he doing there?

With scrunched brows, she continued to move forward.

The door was ajar and she was able to gain access to the hotel room.

"Dave…" Adrianna called out in a meek voice. Her voice reverberated alongside the moans of two adults.

The room was dimly lit and Adrianna could see the outline of two people on the bed. It was obvious that rigorous sexual activity was going on.

"Baby, you're so tight…" Adrianna heard those words and it turned out to be Dave's voice.

Dave, who happened to be Adrianna's boyfriend, was screwing some lady from God knows where. However, it was obvious that their relationship had ended.

On the other side, they knew that Adrianna was in the room but they didn't care. Dave's aim was to let Adrianna see him in the act, since she had denied him sex. He needed to satisfy himself, after all.

Adrianna's world came crashing down when she heard Dave's next words.

"You are so much better than my girlfriend. Oh shit, she's no longer my girlfriend…" His voice was incredibly deep and rushed.

Adrianna could hear the squelchy and wet sounds, coupled with deep groans, coming from under the sheets. She was hurt and disgusted and she wouldn't let herself be bullied.

She put on a neutral expression and then marched toward the bed. She immediately drew the sheets over their bodies.

"What the f**k!" Dave cried out, not expecting Adrianna to react that way. He thought she would be broken and hide in the corner and not become feisty. His naked body was not exposed to the air but then he didn't care.

"Dave…" Adrianna started, her eyes showing how furious she was. She was able to mask the hurt in her eyes, "... You're so pathetic."

"He's not as pathetic as you, old lady." The girl beneath Dave clapped back. From her looks, Adrianna could deduce that she was beautiful. Also, Lucy called her old lady because Adrianna didn't like the idea of sex before marriage.

"That's alright, Lucy." Dave said with a smirk on his face.

Looking at their still intertwined body, Adrianna was disgusted and couldn't hide that.

On the other hand, Lucy didn't like Adrianna interrupting her moment with Dave.

She then lashed out, "Don't act like you are disgusted, you're just an old-fashioned girl, crying every night about your dead parents."

"What?" Adrianna called out in disbelief. One thing she hated was being reminded about her parents. She didn't even know who they were and most people assumed they were dead.

"Yeah, your f**king dead parents!" Lucy said, daringly, again. And in one swift second, Adrianna was on the bed. She had knocked Dave aside and it was a wonder where she had gotten such strength.

Back on the bed, Adrianna dragged Lucy's hair tightly and held onto her neck. She was able to wrestle Lucy because Lucy was naked and vulnerable.

"Let me go, bitch." Lucy said through gritted teeth, trying to get Adrianna's hand off of her neck. She tried to look sideways for help from Dave but it seems he was enjoying the show.

"I'm not a bitch like you, girl." Adrianna clapped back and clamped Lucy's body with her legs. She began to land a series of slaps on Lucy's face.

"You should take my parents out of your dirty mouth." Adrianna yelled, her eyes were red. She knew that Lucy got the information about her parents from Dave.

She then looked at Dave who was staring back at them in wonder. Adrianna guessed that he liked the idea of two girls fighting over him and she wanted to prove him wrong.

She was quick to get off Lucy and then run around the hotel room. Pushing and toppling over anything that was in her way. She spotted two porcelain flower vases and grabbed them.

She didn't care if the things she damaged were expensive or not, Dave would pay for them. It was the least of the punishment she had in mind for him.

"You asshole!" Adrianna yelled and immediately threw the first vase at Dave who was quick to dodge, making the Vase collide with the wall. However, the broken pieces got a few cuts on him.

After that episode, Adrianna turned to Lucy with a scary expression on her face.

"Are you just going to stand there, Dave? Protect your princess!!" Lucy ordered but Dave paid no heed to her words. He didn't care if she was the Werewolf princess, he just wanted the two girls before him to fight.

It turned out that Lucy was a werewolf princess and Dave was under her command. However, Adrianna was a bit confused about their princess talks.

"Shut up and fight for yourself. You're no fucking princess. Who do you think would cater to your whims here?" Adrianna said, in an incredibly low voice.

"What do you think you are? You're just…" Lucy began but she didn't get to complete her sentence before a vase came flying at her.

"Ahhhhh…" Lucy screamed in fright as the vase collided with the headboard. The broken pieces flew toward Lucy's face and body.

"Ahh…" Lucy continued to scream as blood started to drip from her face.

The sight of blood caused Dave's eyes to turn red. His werewolf senses were kicking in but he tried to reign them in. Adrianna wasn't supposed to know that they were supernaturals.

"Aww, what a scaredy bitch!" Adrianna mocked and stepped closer to the bed. Her expression depicted how angry and crazy she was at that moment.

On the other hand, Lucy paled with fright. She couldn't even get out of bed to run to safety.

"Get away from me. You psycho!" Lucy screamed as Adrianna approached. The gears in her head started to turn, she couldn't let Adrianna defeat her like that.

At that moment, she regretted not giving priority to the training and methods her father had taught her. She was the Werewolf princess for f**k's sake and she couldn't defend herself against a mere human.

Does she have to rely on her wolf now?

Indeed Adrianna seemed like a psycho, even Dave was greatly surprised by how she was acting. He knew that talking about her dead parents triggered this violent side in her.

Somehow, he was a bit hurt that Adrianna didn't take the initiative to fight for him. What an ego!

As Adrianna continued to approach Lucy, she grabbed a broken vase piece on the bed and then started to point it toward Lucy's neck.

Lucy was greatly scared and her wolf had started to claw at their bond to take over. Her wolf just wanted to protect her, regardless of what she had done.

With no strength and will left to fight against Adrianna, Lucy's body started to change. Her nose was replaced by a snout. Her hands and legs were replaced by huge fore and hind legs.

"No! Lucy." Dave said with trepidation in his voice. It was too late and he couldn't stop Lucy's transformation. He then looked at Adrianna and noticed that she was frozen at a spot.

Adrianna couldn't believe her eyes, the broken piece she held in her hand, fell to the ground with a light thud.

"W-what is that?" Adrianna asked, stuttering. On the other hand, Lucy had transformed and her wolf didn't wait for one second before jumping at Adrianna.

"Ahhhhh…" Adrianna screamed and rolled to the ground. Her scream suddenly came to an end and she was pulled into a pit of darkness.

Dave was quick to rush toward Adrianna. He didn't love her but then he didn't wish her dead. Also, it was a hassle to be accused of murdering a human girl.

"Adrianna!!" Dave called out and ran toward her. On the other side, Lucy had transformed back into her human form. She wasn't able to control her wolf at first. But now that Adrianna was lying pitifully on the ground, she could.

"What have you done, Lucy?" Dave barked at her.

"Do not bark at me. You should respect me." Lucy said with a smirk on her face, standing in her naked glory. She was incredibly happy that she had overcome Adrianna even though she didn't stand a chance against her earlier.

"We can't leave her here." Dave said and went ahead to feel Adrianna's heartbeat. For a moment, he was glad that she was alive but he wasn't ready to deal with an unconscious girl.

"I have an idea." Lucy started and Dave looked up at her.

"And?" Dave asked, his brows scrunched into a frown.

"We auction her off!" Lucy declared.

“You did what?”Asher sighed. His Beta’s jaws was currently hanging off the floor. He had known Victor would strongly oppose, known also that Elise was one of the few creatures on this earth that managed to unnerve the life out of him. The woman creeps Asher out too, and once, maybe he’d liked the dangerous and sexy type. But he was literally a married man now and the only reason Elise would be coming to the pack was so that she can help find Kihara.“You invited her here? Are you mad?” Victor continued loudly.“Keep your voice down okay,” Asher hushed. “You know Victor, that we’ve been doing this ourselves for a while and failing. We need help, and she’s the best help we can get.”Victor shook his head, the look of horror on his face still not clearing. “Of course she’s the best Asher, she’s a fucking bounty hunter, hired killer, assassin,” Victor counted on his fingers, his eyes seemingly widening each time he dropped a finger. “And a fucking were-snake Asher, let’s not forget about

Twilight pack had gradually declined to a somber graveyard in the absence of it’s Luna. The halls bleak and lacking of color, every wolf felt the same bleakness inside of them, as though an emptiness had been carved in their hearts. More cruel was that they had no idea what to do. To mourn their Luna? For if she was dead, then that was the right thing to do. Or to hope? To dare look up to the moon and hope that she was still alive and that one day she would be returned? It did not seem likely, but it was a possibility they were willing to entertain. For their alpha, he needed it, needed that hope. That was all he ran on.Hunting down Sebastian had never become more primary than now. Asher has men combing every nook and cranny of this town. He was sure that one day, he would hit the jackpot and one of those searches would unlock the villains hiding place. He did not need to search for long however, it seemed that the villain was done hiding. It was early morning when it happened. Asher

“Please,” The prisoner begged, “You don’t have to do this.”Asher’s eyes burned. Why could he not do this? His mate was stolen from him, why did he not deserve to at least transfer his rage to this man who had helped make it happen.“I’ll talk, anything you want, I promise.” The whimpered, his voice pitchy and breathy.Asher paused in his steps. “Then start talking, and fast.”The man nodded furiously, his body visibly deflating with relief. “Where is Sebastian?” Asher asked coolly, the hammer hanging casually by his side. The fear was back in the man’s eyes. He looked up at Asher, his gaze with utter defeat, as he shook his head,“No?” Asher’s eyebrows twitched with impatience.“I really don’t know. I swear.” The man whimpered, voice so shaky it was barely comprehensible.“If you don’t know, then you’re not at all useful to me.” Asher growled lowly. The man fell to his knees. “We were hired randomly. They promised to take care of our families if we died for this, kill them if we didn

TRIGGER WARNING: Themes of torture mentioned below.)Brody found him first, in the thicket where he had chosen to bleed out his feelings. He felt like a broken man and no words needed saying as Brody looked over Asher. It was obvious that he’d not found Kihara, that he had failed in protecting his mate and now she was in the hands of a moon cursed wolf.“Come on Alpha, we’ll find her another day.” Brody said. Just not today, Asher thought. How was it acceptable that he came here with his mate and has to leave without her? How is it acceptable that she remains in that man’s lair, dead or alive for even a day?Brody helped Asher up and walked him back the way he’d come, until they broke out of the woods and unto the road. Asher’s leg was still bleeding but not as profusely as earlier and the pain of the wolf’s bane was also fading. Asher missed that pain, it was more merciful than the clenching and unclenching of his heart. This ache and this utter feeling of emptiness that was evading

Asher felt it rather than saw, from the distance of a still forming mate bond, his mate’s distress. He looked up, and that was when he saw the man that had introduced himself as Ajax with his mate. He’d knocked Kihara out and now she lay cold and unconscious in his arms. A growl tore through the air and earth. Asher’s eyes shivered with emotion, fear and anger. Ajax looked over his shoulders at him, and for once, that unsmiling, unfeeling face dissolved with a smile. He’d won.Without time to waste, and with Kihara in his arms, Ajax ran off the roads and into the mountains. His mate weighed nothing in his arms, and was hardly an inconvenience, or deterrent to his speed. Asher screamed with fury, the panic traveling up his throat, clogging his airways. The men charged at him and he swiped and stabbed at every single one of them, not holding back his strengths. He needed to get to Kihara; the only thought that rang loud in his head. He couldn’t let Ajax have her, knowing where he was t

Ajax’s men drew their weapons, axes and blades glinting in the air like the shine of cruel death. Leila turned to Kihara hastily. “Whatever you do, you’ll stay with me okay?” Kihara nodded, her hands tightening on her gun. I have this, she thought to herself, she ought to be fine. Asher from a few feet away glanced back at them quickly, he shared a look with Brody and Leila and they seemed to understand a they both nodded. To kihara, his eyes softened and seemed to tell, ‘be safe.’ Kihara nodded at him. She did not plan to let any of these men get close to her.And they were a lot of them. They were beyond outnumbered. The men were ordinary humans, and against a dozen well trained wolves were like an army of ants, but ants that they were, they crawled towards them from every angle, swarming in as if they could choke off the air. The men were way more than preoccupied in a few seconds, battling claws with blades and axes. The wailing sound of men broke through the peaceful mountainous
