REJECTION

"MATE" Lorelei growled in excitement. 

I traced the scent to see where it was coming from. I kept on going and going until I stopped in front of Drayton's room door. 

"MATE" Lorelei growled again, even more excited than before. 

"What?" I mumbled as I hesitated to go in. 

"Was Drayton my mate or was it someone else that was in his room? Maybe one of his friends that is in his room is my mate" I thought as my hands rested on the door knob. 

" Open the door already, Olivia!" Lorelei growled. 

I took in a deep breath and slowly twisted the door knob. Fortunately, the door was unlocked. 

The sight that I saw inside the room made my mouth drop in shock. My mate was Drayton, the Alpha's son and he was fucking another girl that wasn't Lucinda. 

"What!!" I screamed. 

Drayton seemed unfazed as he pulled out of the bitch who couldn't stop moaning. 

He wore back his pants and lit a cigarette as he started walking towards me. 

I stood rooted to the ground, waiting to see the next thing that would happen. 

"Mate," he said.

I didn't say anything but just stared at him. 

"How could you be my fucking mate!!" He roared with anger, disgust evident in his voice and face. 

"I didn't choose to be your mate, the moon goddess chose us as mates!" I yelled back as streams of tears started rolling down my cheeks.

" Fuck the moon goddess!!" He roared. 

" How could the fucking moon goddess make you my fucking mate, Omega!!" He spat spitefully while shaking his head. 

"This can never be fucking real," he said again. His words repeated in my head over and over again. 

I could feel my tears rushing down my cheeks like wild rainwater on a rainy day. 

I held my gaze on him as I saw the anger, hate, and disgust filled in his eyes. 

"You are a fucking Omega with treacherous parents, and you can never be my mate ad Luna. I'd rather make this bitch my Luna and mate than make you!!" He roared again as he pointed at the bitch who purred like a kitten. 

I could feel my heart break into a million pieces as he compared me to a whore. 

Lorelei was growling non-nonstop like me, her heart was shattered too, she was really excited to meet our mate now this happened. 

"How dare you compare me with a whore!!" I yelled. 

I gasped in horror as I felt a deafening slap land on my cheeks. My Mate had just slapped me!!

"I am a soon-to-be Alpha, and this mate shit is not for me! Omegas are for omegas only, do you understand? I would never accept you as my mate and future Luna" he said. 

I felt like I was being pierced by a million arrows in my heart. I cried uncontrollably. 

I know he hated me, but I didn't expect this. Why would he say all these hurtful words to me?

I am also a fucking Alpha too!! Lorelei felt so angry, she wanted to take control of me immediately. I couldn't let her do it. 

"Stop it, Lorelei, stop," I said softly to her. I understand that she is hurt, but I can't let her shift right in Drayton's presence. My secret was going to be revealed if she does that and I am in my weakest state right now. 

All my expectations about finding a mate that would love me burst like a bubble.

"But..but you are my mate, the moon goddess made you my mate," I said tearfully, hoping he would have sympathy. 

"Fuck you and duck the moon goddess. The moon goddess is so daft for making you my mate" he said scornfully as I widened my eyes in horror and shock. 

"You are a disgusting, stupid lowlife Omega" his words pierced my heart like a sharp blade. 

"I, Drayton Asher, the soon-to-be Alpha of the Paxon pack, reject you Olivia Gael as my mate and future Luna of this pack" he finally said those forbidden words. He left me standing in his room as he walked out with the bitch who giggled. 

I couldn't process all that had just happened. Did my mate just reject me? 

"No, that can't be true. I am just imagining all these, they are not real. It is all just a horrible dream that I am having, but I will soon wake up, right?" I said as I chuckled painfully. I was finally running mad. 

"Noooo!!!" I screamed as I crouched down to the floor and held my shattered heart. 

Lorelei growled and growled so painfully. We were both in so much pain. We were just rejected like worthless pieces of trash by our mate. 

"Moon goddess, why!!" I wept. 

"Why did you make him mates with me? You knew I was hated by everyone in this pack and you still went ahead to make me his mate!!" I yelled in pain. 

" You can't do this to me, Drayton. I, Olivia Gael accept your rejection" I said as I straightened up. 

" I hope the moon goddess curses you!!' I spat.

"I fucking hate you and this pack with everything in me. I must make you all in this pack regret for causing me pain!!" I roared as anger and fury blazed in my eyes. 

His rejection pierced me in my heart so deeply and it awakened something in me, revenge!

My mate fucking rejected me! 

"Ha!!" I laughed.

Why am I so unlucky and cursed in my miserable life?

How cruel and unfair could life be to me? Huh? I balled my fists and finally ran out of the room with tears falling furiously down my cheeks. I was heading to my little room. 

On arrival, I saw Finn. He looked worried. 

"Olivia, where were you? And why are you crying?" He asked as I shook my head in pain. 

"I can't stay here anymore Finn, I am leaving this pack for good and when I eventually come back, it would for revenge," I said as my eyes glistened with tears. 

" What? What happened?" He asked again. 

" Are you coming with me, Finn? Or are you staying here?" I asked. 

" Fuck this pack, Olivia, I am coming with you," he said as I smiled painfully.
