CHAPTER THIRTEEN: TEASING ELISSE

I guided Elisse out of Miles’ condo, my grip firm around her wrist as we made our way to my car. Pero ‘yong mga hakbang niya, halatang pilit lang dahil nagpapatianod lang naman siya sa paghila ko sa kaniya.

Oras na marating na namin ang sasakyan ko, binitawan ko na ang kamay niya at hinarap siya. My brows furrowed, demanding answers without saying a word. She knew exactly what I was asking — what the hell was she doing there?
