Chapter Nine

It was a bright Saturday morning. The birds chirped synchronically on the trees as the trees danced beautifully to the rhythm of the gentle breeze.

The rays of the sun fell on her face and she stretched her body lazily.

"Good morning." She heard from behind her. She knew instantly who had adjusted the curtains. "Finally, she wakes."

Daisy smiled calmly still stretching her body. "Good Morning Stacy." She answered back, laying emphasis on the phrase.

"I thought you wouldn't wake again. I mean, it's almost noon." Stacy said, checking out some outfits in her wardrobe.

Daisy placed her face of the pillow clutching it tightly. "Ouchhh! She winced "It's been awhile I had a well balanced sleep. I felt like I was in a new world."

Stacy laughed casually. "Sorry." She said, trying not to make her feel bad. "It's only a week at work and you're this tired already? Stacy teased.
