Chapter Thirty One

It was drizzling and was about to start raining heavily when she got to the house. She had just returned from the hospital after her second visit to see Daisy just as she had earlier promised. Her driver had dropped her off in front of her house as usual and drove off.

She was glad the rain didn't meet her outside as she had this personal issue with rainy days, especially the heavy ones. She searched for her keys in her bag till she found it after some fumblings.

She inserted the key into the keyhole and tried to unlock the door when she noticed that the door was open. She stared at it for a while, wondering if she had left it open that morning while leaving for work, but she couldn't remember exactly. After a furtile thinking, she overlooked it, then she went into the house and locked the door properly.
