"Evy, baby wake up. You have slept for a long." I heard my Mom's angelic voice and her hand caressing my hairs.

I fluttered my eyes open and the first thing that came into my view, was her beautiful face. She's smiling down at me.

"Sorry, Mom. I slept long." I said in a hoarse voice as I sat straight on my bed and met with bright sunrays coming into my room through floor length windows.

I yawned and wiped my drool which earned me a chuckle from her.

"Who says you're a mother of a six years old and two in the way. You're still a kid, Evey." She laughed.

"Mom, please don't tease me." I rubbed my sleepy eyes embarrassingly.

"You look cute. I don't have my phone right now. Get up, it's quite late and you missed your first dose of meds." She said showing me the door of bathroom.

I looked at the clock and my eyes widened at the time. It was twelve twenty in the afternoon.
