The conversation with Evangeline didn't end how I planned it. I went to her house with a leaping heart. I wanted to take her and Chase out for a dinner at Brandon's restaurant, of course, under tight security but what I heard in her garden broke my heart.

She still sees me only as Chase's father, which is reliving for me but I want to be more than that. I want to be the partner she needs in all thick and thins. I want to old her hand whenever rough phase comes in our lives. I want us to watch our children grow. I want to die in her arms so I can have the peace I have been earning since a long time.
