HAYLE'S POV.

“Did I by chance do something wrong? Off the radar, perhaps? Piss you off by coming here.” Alex asked all at once.

I tilted my head sideways before passing him a warm smile. I knew he was curious, and he seemed to have been bothered judging by how Dustin had acted.

“No, nothing; that's your fault. We are good to go. Pardon my friend for acting in such a manner; I should be the one asking for your forgiveness. You didn't offend me in any way; it's just that there had been a couple of rough patches and this... I wouldn't want to bother you, but know it's not your fault; he acts like that every once in a while, and I'll sort it out.” I responded to Alex 's questions.

Of course I had a whole lot cooped into my head at the moment; I wasn't certain of which I was meant to fathom; it gave me the irks a little and made me sick, thinking of how Dustin had acted out.
