Alex.

My eyes remained pinned amongst the crowd waiting outside. I scanned through very carefully; my father had said that as soon as I got out of the airport there would be a man waiting for me.

And it was just like he had stated, a man was indeed waiting, his eyes lingering in my wheelchair with a look tickled with irritation.

“Mr Alex?” He called out to me, and I nodded with a smile, determined to keep calm and act foolish for as long as I possibly could; getting all wrapped up in their talks and acts wasn't something that I wanted.

“You caught a quick glance of me; I was worried I would miss you,” I responded, feigning ignorance to the curt manner in which he had spoken.

“Well, there aren't many disabled people in wheelchairs now, are there?” He asked once again before walking away from me,
