Book5: Chapter 9-Bet

Dark honked as he approached Natasha’s father. The girl was next to him and was obviously shy about looking at him. He stopped for a moment and opened the window. “I’ll be back.”

Travis nodded at the young man and knew where he was going. Adrian was supposed to leave, but he didn’t want to be away from his wife and kid for a long time, so Dark exchanged and went to another country.

Natasha couldn’t resist, and she glanced at the young man as well. Her lips parted when she saw the little smile that appeared on his lips as he stared intently at her. When his mouth opened, she could read ‘take care’ from his voiceless speech.

Dark waited for the father and daughter to enter the gate before leaving and heading to the airport.

Natasha happily wraps her hand around her father’s arm. She misses her parents even though she visits them often when she doesn’t have school.

“How is your relationship with Dark? Is he a material husband to you?” Travis asked his daughter when they entered the hous
