Book 5; Chapter 16-Sermon

“Aunty, where are we going?” Cherry asked her aunt, and she pulled her by the arm out of the house again.

“We’re going home to the province, and I don’t have a job anymore.”

Cherry sighed, and she could do nothing but follow her aunt. They traveled in the old car. She didn’t know where they were going. She also wants them to stay away because she is afraid of the man her aunt wants her to marry. He has tried to do bad things against her several times, and luckily, she always manages to escape.

Cherry was surprised when her aunt suddenly cursed at the same time she stepped on the car's brake. She couldn’t see much around her because it was night, and all she could see was the woods on the side of the road. “Aunt Dalia, what happened?”
