Book 6: Chapter 15-Diary

Clara burst into tears after reading the first page of her mother’s diary. It states the sufferings of her will because she loved a man who didn’t love her back. At first, she felt sorry for her mother, but when she read the next page, she became nervous.

“I was even more scared when my sister came home one night. She was carrying a child and had bruises on her face.” At that moment, Clara covered her mouth with her palm to prevent sobs from escaping her throat. She seemed suddenly afraid of what she would say next.

Despite her fingers trembling, she was forced to open another page again. “I helped my sister change her life with the child I thought was her daughter.” She quickly wiped the tears from her eyes, which were almost blurry. She had to finish reading the diary.

After reading the entire diary, she reluctantly let go of the small notebook. Crying, she picked up a family photo and knew it was her. She seems to want to laugh at her fate in life. The sister of her identifie
