Book 6: Chapter 23-Looks alike

Dean froze in his tracks when he saw the boy sitting on the sofa. Suddenly, his chest heaved with nervousness. This was one of the reasons why he came here to visit his friend’s house—to see the child in person.

“Dean, it’s good, and you’ve thought about coming back to the country. I have already told the assistant to call Aldrin.” Sunshine talks kindly to her son’s best friend.

“Auntiy, is he Aldrin’s son?” He asked while not taking his eyes off the boy, who was also silently looking at him and seemed to recognize him.

"Oh, sorry, yes. He’s Tyler.” Sunshine turned her gaze to her grandson. “Grandson, say hello to Uncle Dean.”

Dean quickly approached the boy, cupped his cheek, and examined him closely.

“Is there something wrong with my son?” Beatrix asked, and the man didn’t seem to see her.

Dean seemed to come to his senses and quickly let go of the boy, who was obviously surprised at what he had done. “Sorry, don’t be scared. You’re cute, and you look like someone.”
