Book 6: Chapter 10-Emergency room

“Mom, maybe someone will see us together,” Beatrix complained to her mother.

“Don’t ask too many questions and be so nitpicky; come with us to the hospital right now!” She said with a gasp, and her eyes widened at her daughter.

Beatrix just followed her mother. Clara got in the car first, and she sat next to her.

Clara took a deep breath when suddenly the baby seemed to kick inside her belly. It seems that the baby feels what she feels now as its mother.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Clara saw that Lita was talking to a doctor. She didn’t know what they were talking about. She hoped it was for her mother. She entered her mother’s room, and there was no one else there. She burst into tears again and caressed her mother’s cheek.

“Daughter…”

Clara looked at her mother in shock when she heard her voice. “Mother? It’s good, and you’re awake. I’m sorry if I only visited you now!” She said while caressing her mother’s cheek.
