Book 5: Chapter 12-Agreement

Tasya breathed a sigh of relief when the doctor said the baby was safe but was on oxygen. Clara remained asleep, and her condition became critical. Three hours later, Clara woke up.

“Nurse, how is my baby?” Clara asked weakly.

“Your baby is fine, but you two need to stay here for a few days.”

Clara tearfully thanked the nurse again. She owes her and her baby’s lives to her.

“Be strong, and I’ll help you as much as I can.” Tasya smiled at the girl.

“How is my mother?” Her throat dried, and she tried to stop herself from crying.

“I’m sorry, but your mother chose you whom I should help first. Don’t worry, and I’ll find out about her condition later.”

Clara bit her lip hard to stop herself from sobbing. Painful parts of his body ache when he moves. “Please go and see my mom. I’m fine here.”
