Chapter 47.

Aurora's POV.

I woke up the next morning with a heavy thirst for water. My throat felt so dry as though I hadn't taken in water for a long time after all the wine I had consumed yesterday.

I was thirsty as hell. Sitting upright on the rug, I robbed the sleep off my eyes and peered around the room not looking at the bed since my back was turned towards it. I didn't have that energy to turn around. When my eyes met the window, the bright light entering the room from the slightly ajar window hit my eyes and I quickly blinked my eyes.

It wasn't as early as I thought. I quickly picked up my phone from the sofa next to me. I know I left it there last night before sleeping on the floor. My left hand got hold of the phone and the screen lit up immediately. I checked at the time and it was 9:30 AM in the morning.

I never slept that much. It must be as a result of the party the previous night. I quickly pulled the brown covers off my body and stood up from the floor.
