YARA’S POV

“I don’t want to talk about that, Yara,” Denver said to me and he turned to leave the gym.

“I need to know. I want you to make sense of it so I would know if I’m doing the right thing or not by choosing to be with you. I don’t want to be a betrayer that turned on her sisters for the man who killed them” I said to him and he paused in his strides. Then he turned around to face me.

“Did Allison tell you to say this to me? Is she the one that got into your head?” he asked me and I stood up from the chair I sat on. Shaking my head, I walked toward him and we both looked each other in the eyes.

It broke my heart to do this too, I was always scared of bringing it up because I knew it was never going to end on a good note but seeing Allison and how determined she was to make him pay, it made me question my morals.
