CHAPTER 75

ALPHA DENVER’S POV

I walked out of Yara’s room and I stood in the passage for a while with my hands tucked into my pockets. I didn't want to do this but I didn’t have much of a choice so I had to. With a grunt, I walked toward the wing of the palace where Luna Amanda was kept for treatment and the palace’s physician was there checking on her. He was probably doing his last round for the night before going to bed.

He saw me standing by the door when he turned around and he bowed to me. I gave him a nod in reply and he came toward me.

“May I speak to you for a moment, Alpha Denver? In private” he said and he looked up at me. We both shared a look for a while as I wondered what he had to say to me then I gave in and nodded.

“Lead the way then,” I replied and he walked out of the room so I followed suit. We both walked into the next room and he turned around to face me.
