There was tension in the air when Anita arrived at the next pack. Exhaustion took over her body, and she collapsed on the floor. How she managed to evade the rogues on the No Man's Land shocked her.

Panting heavily, she tried to catch her breath. This was beyond her imagination that she would be a fugitive. Her stomach cried in hunger. It was almost two days after her escape from Alpha Darius.
