Roy's Worries

Roy ran towards the kitchen. His steps were obviously hurried and his breathing was a little labored.

“Where's Sira?” Roy asked quickly when he only found chef Brian in the kitchen.

“What are you looking for me for?” said Sira who had just come out of the kitchen.

Roy immediately approached Sira, looked at the girl's body and hugged her. For a few minutes Sira let Roy hold her body. she understood that Roy was worried about Sira's condition who had just been beaten by Jesi.

“I'm sorry. I should have been there to help you.” Roy gently stroked Sira's hair then he released the hug and looked at Sira gently with compassion.

“Thank you for your concern, Roy. But I don't think you need to interfere in my problems,” Sira replied looking seriously into Roy's eyes. Their gazes met, talking over each other's thoughts without the need for words.
