Chapter 22: Resisting Inner Temptation

After taking the medicine, Sira was still beside Damian. The girl froze instantly, she still couldn't believe how Damian had gotten into her house.

“How did you get into my house,” Sira asked carefully. She hesitated to even talk to Damian first.

“You didn't lock it,” Damian replied carelessly. And Sira believed him.

“Really? Why am I so careless. Next time I'll replace it with a fingerprint lock,” Sira replied, believing Damian's words. Making the man chuckle instantly.

Sira stared at the laughing Damian, blinking her eyes repeatedly to see where he was wrong and funny.

“You believe me?” said Damian, still laughing.

“Then what do I do?” replied Sira with an innocent face as if she hadn't realized Damian's lie.

“It's up to you. You have to trust me,” Damian muttered, looking at Sira's face, which was still red from the fever.

Damian immediately held Sira's forehead, the girl reflexively recoiled and made Damian immediately withdraw his hand, “It seems your fever has started to go down
