Chapter 26: New Door

Sira was still thinking about the taxi driver who had acted strangely after she told him she had just moved to the city. The taxi driver had been acting strangely.

“Maybe it's just my hunch. Hopefully,” Sira muttered, deciding to leave for work early.

With slow steps, Sira heard the sound of other steps behind her. Without hesitation, she immediately looked back, but there was nothing there.

“Ah, looks like I worried too much.” Sira continued on her way to work. Because as usual, she preferred walking to taking a taxi. The reason was that saving money was more important.

Sira quickened her pace, her gut feeling telling her she was being followed by someone. Without realizing it, Sira actually ran quickly, then turned around directly. Sure enough, she found someone behind her wearing a black jacket. Having been spotted by Sira, the person quickly ran away as fast as possible.
