“I said enough!!” I heard my father yell as he walked towards us.’

I could tell from the sound of his voice that it was just as well not to provoke him.

And so I had my hands taken off immediately watching the man in front of me fall off to the ground gasping for air.

I stood still on the spot staring at the staff in my hand wondering why I felt so angry holding on to the neck of my opponent with a bad urge to have him killed on the spot.

“Get him out of here!” my father said to the guard standing next to us.

I watched as the guard snaked an arm around him taking him off and headed for the packed clinic, I guess.

“Come with me!” my father said as I followed suit.

I could see there was no love lost between my father and me as we both headed back into the mansion without a word from any of us to the other.

Not even words of encouragement or compliments, which I’d prefer.

On getting to the mansion, I realized we were headed for his office.
