Chapter Eight

KATHY

I had the door to the car open silently, as I slowly crawled my way out.

I bent to the ground laying completely flat to the ground.

I could feel my hands shaking from the effect of what had just happened.

I turned to my side and realized the guard who had driven me down this same road had just been shot dead.

I crawled through the dirt, running off into the woods nearby.

It had gotten completely dark and was somewhat hard to see running through the woods.

I had my phone removed from my purse as I had the flashlight on making it a little easy to see the pathway I was running through.

I had my hair rolled up to a bun as I crawled through the bushes.

The minute I had gotten fully into the bush, the cold from the air blew hard against my skin causing me to shiver as I had my eye arm wrapped around my body as I ran ahead.

I felt bad not being able to see who it was that had done this wondering why they had the gentleman from the car shot dead.

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me,
