Ninety-Seven

Sally's POV

When Ryan's pack finds out that Darius is in town, they can't contain themselves and organize a barbecue gathering as fall approaches.

I find it strange that these wolves have a barbecue in the fall, and it's not the first time I've had to go. But, it is unique. It's them. That's their thing.

"You'll be late for the barbecue, Sally." My grandmother warned.

I grumbled as I went downstairs. "No, I wouldn't. I mean, it's not even for me. So why should I bother?"

The woman shot a glare at me, quick enough to silence me. "It doesn't matter if it's for you or not, you were invited and that's that. Being late to an event you were invited to is rude." She reprimanded.

"Burn!" Darius cheered in the background as he too came down the stairs.

The woman also shot him a look. His face was pale. And I lost it, bursting out laughing at the bottom of the stairs. "Your face. Oh my god. Priceless."

“You are no different, young master.” The old lady scolded.
