Sally's POV

In private, Darius told me how Ryan was ready to pounce on him and serve him up for the grill. It's true, he looked like he had a burst vein or two when Jackson and Albert started pulling him away from us.

Sitting across from me, Athena continued to give me a secret look that said you're-sly and another expression of hers that said I-didn't-know-that-you-had-it-in- Friend. She smirked at me and handed me a plate of mashed potatoes.

By the end of the day, Darius and I couldn't keep up with the facade anymore because we were laughing like a bunch of drunks, but it was fun. Before he went home with my Jeep - yes, he left me behind with my car - he told me to talk to Ryan. That poor guy looked so upset, that he didn't even eat.

Okay, now, I feel bad.

After helping Athena clean up around her, I asked the girl where he was. She told me he might be in the office, if not, ask Albert.
