Prologue

I can always tell you that I am excited to find my mate. My soulmate and the one who will claim me as his for the rest of our life. Moon goddess is such a genius for creating this rule in the nature. To let two werewolf souls, find their way to each other like a fairytale come true.

“ Are you excited honey?” mom asked before she turned me around, checking my dress for the last time. Today, I am going to find my mate. The one whom I will cherish and promise to love for the rest of my life. I nodded at her and look at the moon shining above us.

It wasn’t a normal tradition. But in our family, we have this tradition to let ourselves wait for our mate in the family cabin at the center of the forest. If the mate is within the sniffing location, then I am lucky enough to know him tonight but if he wasn’t then time will tell.

The cabin is made out of old wall woods, surrounding by light from fireflies and candles. Inside, there is  a large white bed with petals of red roses scattered in the floor. I softly sat in the bed and my white dress cascaded into the soft mattress.

It will only a matter of time and my she-wolf growled inside of me, anticipating the moment. The tradition in our family allows us to find our mates and enjoy each other for three days, thus the purpose of this cabin.

Slowly, the bell rings. I am finally 18 and it will not be long, my mate will come running into the door. Closing my eyes, my wolf and I waited for the arrival. There was a loud screeching on the door then it happened.

At the door is none other than Alpha Nicholas, the alpha of the Gibbous pack. One of the most notorious alphas whom I am scared for the entirety of my life. He’s eyes are fixed in mine and like a maniac, my wolf inside growled recognizing her mate. Our eyes met and like a magnet we ran to each other.

“ Y-You’re my mate?” quivering, I asked and he only growls before locking me into his arms. His scent lingers into my nostrils however something didn’t feel right because aside from his smell I can smell someone too.

He pinned me to the bed, ready to bite and claim me as his mate when the door loudly opened, revealing the sweaty and furious Alpha Antonio. He’s breathing heavily but he’s shocked because of what he saw.

“ What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” he asked and snatched me from his twins. My she-wolf inside growls and I don’t know what’s happening because right now, she wants them both.

Their eyes pierced through my skin and before I knew it, I was roughly kissed by Alpha Antonio.

“ She’s mine. She’s my mate.” Alpha Nicholas growled to his twin, snatching my hand and getting me away from his twin brother. Another growl and all I can see is both of them throwing punches at each other. My mind went furious. I can smell them both and my she-wolf told me that they are both my mate but that is absurd, right?

“ She’s my mate!” Alpha Antonio retorted, growling to his own twin.

“ Aaaaaaaaah!”

Suddenly, a light protrudes into my body. It burst into tiny flames of light into the thin air and before I knew it, I already passed out into deep oblivion.

“ Who are you?!” I furiously asked someone because of the too much pressure that I am feeling right now. I cannot properly see because of the brightness of the place.

She laughed for a moment which echoes inside the place. It looks like a deserted snow mountain the only difference was that I wasn’t feeling cold at all.

“ Here is your curse; you will have the two alpha twins as your mate. Your story will bring blood to the nation. A sinful trio mate and a judgmental eye of the werewolf’s pack. Your ethereal beauty will hold them in their neck and you don’t have any choice but to suffer in this matter of events.”

Her voice is soothing but her words are stinging and dark. Trio mate? Alpha twins? What does she probably mean?
