Chapter 2 -Proposal

The nights are in chaos, the sounds of crickets in this cabin are too loud for the silence of the dark. Before I looked at the crescent moon with too much adoration and hope, I was wishing for her light to bestow me a mate that I will protect and hold for the rest of my life but right now, it wasn't the same. It will never be the same again.

A sound of dry leaves stretched along with the silence, and there I saw Alpha Antonio, one of my mates quietly occupy the seat beside me. I was on the cabin's patio...thinking about all of the things that are happening to me right now.

" How are you?" he asked before we heard his mate whines. It tries to snuggle in my body but the flow of events is too much. “ He’s really happy because you are our mate,” he explains before talking to his wolf and asking him to calm down. My cheeks felt so hot because of his words. It was a dream to have Alpha Antonio as my mate…he’s always been my dream and the one that I am hoping to be my mate but I thought that it was impossible, to begin with.

Through the depth of the night, we heard loud growling and in the fast blows of the wind, we saw Alpha Nicholas. He’s glaring at us but nevertheless, he didn’t say anything. “ You’re late,” Alpha Antonio pointed out before looking at his twin. We agreed to come here tonight to solve our problems, no one knows about us and this is our little escapade.

“ Unlike you, I don’t have any free time in this world. Rogue’s are seen in the vicinity of our property, the reports are alarming.” He said, insulting his twin like usual. Alpha Nicholas and Alpha Antonio are both our alpha, they are selected by their father to lead our pack and even though it is abnormal and rare, the wolves accepted the request of their late alpha to passed the throne on them. But we notice that Alpha Antonio is more focused on the community social’s works while Alpha Nicholas is dominating the warrior team and protecting us from the rogues.

Alpha Antonio didn’t respond to his insults but his aura darkens. “ Let’s go inside,” he commanded before helping me to enter the cabins. He’s always touchy, and that’s the result of years of friendship. We both growls when his twin walked in front of us and slightly pushed us, out of the way. He enters the cabin and settles at the large couch.

“ You needed to change your clothes,” I said while looking at the bloodstains in his shirt. We didn’t want to know how he killed the rouges but rumors have it that it was merciless.

He looked at me for a second before he suddenly lifted his shirt and throws it at the trashcan, leaving his fully naked body on show. “ Now, let’s start this bullshit,” he ruggedly said but my eyes are fixated on his body. I have never seen him like this, his nakedness is appealing and my she-wolf is growling like a hoe.

“ Damn! That’s a yummy body,” she squeals.

Alpha Nicholas laughed in my direction and that’s when I noticed that my mouth is hanging open while staring at his body. “ Come here, you can touch and taste it for free,” he whispered which makes my face turns bright red. Embarrassed, I looked at Alpha Antonio who’s shaking his head before I settled on one of the couches, avoiding their eyes.

“ Stop it, Nicholas, let’s just proceed with the discussion. Did you think of any solution for this problem?” he asked his twin brother like all of this is just pure business.

His brother spread his arms on the couch and leaned his body before he grins. “ Yeah, I’ll mark her right now because she’s my mate.”

“ And do you think I will let you do that? She’s my mate also,” Alpha Antonio scowls before cracking his head and showing his canine to his brother.

“ Trio mate? Huh! Was that even possible? Just let me mark her and I will let you have my whores,” he suggested which makes me angry.

“ I don’t want you to be my mate,” I said in a cold tone. He makes me afraid and trembles at his presence.

He throws a dangerous glance in my direction. “ Watch your back girl, I might just tie you up and own you for the rest of your life,” he said in a deep voice that sent shivers down my spine. The thought makes me lose my words.

“ Stop it, you’re scaring her. Actually, I have read books about the trio mate, it’s rare but it is possible.”

“ Right, genius.”

Alpha Nicholas remarked but Alpha Antonio continues to discuss, not minding his asshole brother.

“ There are stories about trio mate…and they didn’t end well, but I have a solution for this,” he offers while looking at my eyes.

He laid a paper on the coffee table before showing it to us. “ Histories has it that in the western pack, there is a witch who will give us a solution to break the trio mate—”

“ Break?” I asked.

“ Yes, break but only if you want someone to remain as your mate then, you will only break the other mate.”

“ Break the bond between you and Antonio,” Alpha Nicholas said, smirking.

“ No. She will break your bind to you,” arrogantly, Alpha Antonio said to his twin brother. Alpha Nicholas didn’t like what he heard before he snaps and walks in my direction. With just a simple touch, he manage to lift me and made me sit on his lap.

Alpha Antonio tried to stop him but his twin didn’t even flinch. “ You can’t trick me, Antonio, if she agreed with your plan then I might just mark her right now. My wolf wanted her as our luna and she’s proposing a very explicit plan…” His words are sharp but so is his canine that is slowly sinking in my neck. His hold is too tight that I can’t get out of his touch.

We are both frozen, Alpha Antonio is staring with fear because we know that if we disobey his twin brother, he will just sink his canine and claim me as his mate.

“ Fine! Tell me the plan,” I exhale as the word leaves my mouth. Fears consumed my body and my mate told me that she’s more than happy to be Alpha Nicholas mate but I cannot forgive myself if I betrayed Alpha Antonio… he’s always there for me.

He grins before he let me settles on his lap, still tugging my body closer to his. “ We’re willing to share… a trio mate, indeed. Let us be both your mate,” he said which makes my heart stopped for a second.

“ Are you losing your mind?!” I protested because of his crazy idea. He only chuckles before his eyes darted to his twin brother.

Alpha Antonio is looking at us, thinking of something. “ He wants it too, he’s considering it.” He grins which makes me look at Alpha Antonio. By his looks, he is really thinking about it.

I struggle and tried to get out of his touch but he’s just laughing at our circumstances. “ Imagine having both of us as your mate? Are you not excited? This is just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, sure, you will enjoy every bit of it,” he added before he feels my body.

My wolf growls and she’s loving the idea. I looked at Alpha Antonio for help but his words shocked me.

“ I-I am willing to…” he closed his eyes, not believing his words. “ But it’s your choice, devon. I am giving you a choice,” he gently said.

Squealing and throbbing, my wolf said yes but I know that this is a crazy work of nature. A trio mate is not accepted in any pack, it’s disgusting and out of the law of nature.

“ Choose wisely Devon,” Alpha Nicholas said but when he kissed my neck, images of the three of us, happy in our secret rendezvous help me made my mind.

I looked at Alpha Antonio before my eyes darted at his twin brother. “ Let’s do it,” I said before my wolf growls of anticipation for the three of us.
